I think the blogs are kidnapping our former forum folks. People who would have been posting are blogging instead....I commented on one blog today - mine was the 45th comment...kind of like a thread in the forums, except that bloggers can delete the comments they don't like if they so choose (wusses they be). Most aren't like that though.
