I saw this article this morning, and thought it was a good example of how Americans aren't as racist as some would like to make us sound, especially just for not wanting to learn spanish and such. We just don't like PUSHY people who try to force us into changing who and what we are, or how we do things, just to accommodate them. I have been hearing complaints about Californians my whole life, and it has nothing to do with their race, just their attitude.

Juzhey, I'm not sure where you get rascism from a smoking ban article. But since the subject of smoking bans have come up once again, I'm thrilled to read that Nevada is getting that good ole' feeling..... hey it's a first step. Ya never know maybe they'll soon work on banning prostitution and gambling too   .
Juzhey why are you living in Everett (Seattle region), which is multi-cultural friendly, and also in a non-smoking state (Washington)?

You really think it's bad for you? Try living with them . Try having a relationship with them . Try to find a Christian among these folks . They create a situation where gasoline is so expensive then blames everyone for $ 4.00 a gallon gas.They vote for the wrong guy and when he does something that hurts everyone , the blame is put on the good guys .They have a strange way of looking at the world .They don't want to hurt the criminals feelings because he might break in to their home and slap them around .Yeah , it's true what they say , they're all fruits and nuts here and just being here makes the rest of you wonder if I might be like one of them. I want to say that I really do buck the trends here . I love the weather here . The women don't look bad , if they are even real women. You can't tell any more.They're either gangsters or queers.These people really believe that hybrids get 60 miles to the gallon . Even if they own one , that lie is never tested. I really believe that Californians are a race and that they are all lunatics.You should listen to them talk.Their rants have more twists than a den of snakes.They pay the most money for education and get the worst results in school and they tell themselves that more money is the solution.They want to punish the hunter for having guns because they can't stop the hoodlums from having them. You don't want to hurt the hoodlums feelings or violate his rights.Or make him look silly now.They say That you , the average person is too stupid to know what to do with your life so you need the government to tell you what to do and that it would be a criminal act to do your own thing.Sound familiar? You don't know what to do with your money , water , gasoline , your property, and if a burglar was to get hurt while breaking in to your place , he can sue you and take your home.These dingalings think that illegal immigrants are good God fearing people who only want to make it in this world. Osama Bin Laden is a cartoon character.Now that Saddam Hussein is dead they want you to think that he was a virtuos man.I'm telling you it's no picnic living with these nuts.

Randy not all Californians are like that. I am not in Cali anymore, but I was born and raised there.. most of the things you said don't describe me at all and my beliefs are still like they were when I lived there.

I love California!!!!!
I would rather put up with a little shakey ground than snow, ice, tornados, and my job leaving to go over seas like they are now where I came from. To look out my window and see mountains, to go for a drive and see the ocean.

I love it too Katts. Wouldn't live anywhere else. You find bad things all over the country. To say all bad things about CA just means you want to make blanket statements and not look at individuals. In my humble opinion it's your loss not mine. Don't come here if you don't like it... I won't miss you.
