So I know a few of you are going to think that i'm bluffing but IM NOT.
there is a new reality TV show that VH1 is currently working on called "dirty little secrets" and its based on Youtube bloggers. Basically- its a reality TV show that is all about what people blog about- WE make the TV show- they ask us questions, we blog about them and so forth- its just a show all about people with crazy lives who know how to share their stories with a captive audience.
only a select few have been chosen for the pilot and I WAS ONE OF THEM!
a friend of mine on youtube was chosen first (he has close to 2,000 subscribers to his video blogs) and when they contacted him he emailed them BACK and told them that "if they liked HIM then theyve GOTTA check out ME" and sent them to my page- sure enough, they LOVED ME   
AND NOW IVE BEEN PICKED UP FOR THE PILOT!! i'll be keeping you all updated as to when the pilot will air and on what channel and so forth- but heres how it works- if the pilot is picked up a select few of THOSE first bloggers will be kept as "main bloggers" and then new ones will come and go on each episode.
the first to go on the pilot have the best chance of being a "main blogger".
I spoke with MTV/VH1 rep earlier today and she helped me understand how it all works.

nope we get paid-
it depends on our popularity and how often our blogs appear on the show-
we dont paid for the first pilot show- but after it gets picked up- we get paid per appearance. :-)

alright so update: they start production on the show this monday and they might have it air as soon as mid may- i'll be sure to post when it will actually air.
ALSO: i just found out that VH1 is going to be selecting a few people from THIS pilot episode to be interns at MTV and VH1 studios- also- there is a possiblity for reality spin offs from this if they find you particularly intregueing. (sp?)
