an aluminum tree, my annual xmas songs (drifters' white xmas, chipmunks' xmas dont b late, jingle bell rock, brenda lee's rockn round the xmas tree) n my ornaments. i wear them as earrings n i have an ornament screensaver w/wallpaper. when the season's over? (local stores r selling decorations year round; i knew it was a matter of time), i think i'd like 2 start collecting ornaments. if it isn't 2 complicated, maybe i'll try n make them. i liked ornaments we had when i was a little girl.

Thats neat Lecri...You sure bring back memories for me! When my daughters were growing up, we had a New England colonia home. The girls had one very large bedroom to share. Every Christmas, they would have their very own smaller real tree and we would make all home made decorations for it. Then they would make home made presents only for under their tree. We had the big tree in the living room, but they loved their special tree every year.

Christmas stockings!!!
ooh, i found some HUGE stockings. i used glue n colored glitter and made a fireplace out of construction paper, etc. i havent had so much fun n my life!

angel, u gotta tell me how to make the decorations. in fact, i need 2 take a look via the internet. i've already found a way to make a book 4 kwanzaa. sigh, i love the internet.

ok, i'm getting 2 many ideas n there r only so many days n december.  i need 2 look that up, 2. wally world has candles that smell like desserts. the house smells wonderful -- like i've been cooking.

Ok, lets see...the girls and I made strings of popcorn and cranberrys, also ribbons of small pine cones on them. We always saved our former chrismas cards and cut the pretty pics into shapes from cookie cutters. Then put them back to back; Laced them together with yarn or embroidery threads. They are so pretty on the tree.

Oh and also we would made tassels, beautiful colored tassels to hang on the ends of the branches.

There are ornaments you can make from flour. Using cookie cutters for the shape. You have to bake them to get them hard. Then you paint them.
You can also make gingerbread men too.

I'd give up anything to have my sister back again. But at least I know in my heart I will see her again one day. She in heaven now. We had our ups and downs, but I loved her so much

COOKIES!!!!!!
We just had a big snow last night so after plowing out my drive I went over and did the neighbors.She came out when I was done to give me ten bucks.I told her that I didnt come over here for money,I'm hoping to get a plate of her delicious Christmas cookies again this year.She insisted that I take it but I just headed out with the tractor and went home.
Later in the day I came home from church there was that 10 bucks stuck in my door with a note.
"Dont worry Jon,you'll still get your cookies"

The halls will be decked,the candles burning, the stockings hung and the milk and cookies out for Santa, but Christmas just won't be the same this year with my son in Iraq.  I have already mailed him his Christmas package with a huge stocking filled with gifts, a miniature tree all decked out including battery operated twinkle lights. I even sent him new Christmas Jammmies, a traditional Christmas eve gift at our home. He called last night and already recieved his package and opened every last one, THE BOOGER! So,if you see a soldier on the news running around in Christmas boxers and T with a santa hat and red rudolph blinky nose, that's my boy!His Ma is his partner in crime when it comes to the pranks and gags dept. Told him about the snowfall we recieved and he was really bummed to miss that again this year.(Also, no homemade fundge and turtles this year!) Forgot to include tags that read: Do NOT OPEN until Christmas! Now, I still need to send him those cookies, I could send an extra package to you too Zestful?

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without my kids being there with me and a significant other to be happy with but atleast I'll have one out of two things this year..Oh yeah and Egg Nog..I have to have my yearly Egg Nogg

Christmas was NEVER the same...
from "the crude bridge that arched the flood" to Little Round Top at Gettysburg;
from the Peking palace to Mobile Bay;
from the "Green Fields of France" to Bastogne and the South Pacific;
from the "Frozen Chosen" to the Golden Triangle...
Christmas was never the same until the boys came home.
Let us quickly flush these toilets that are countries in the Middle East and bring the boys home once again.
Maybe in time for the Super Bowl, and, instead of a Jackson boob, let's see Sadaam hanging as the half-time show.
