I had this thought after reading about the unfortunate fellow who got dumped by his gf because he was too old. I also know someone who got hurt at work and was trying to get into a computer traing program, but he was told that he was too old.
The solution - GET YOUNGER. I just did it. Yesterday I was 40. Now I'm 39. I feel MUCH better. I'm NEVER getting old.

Are you talking about this old ...ahem...guy trying to marry wealthy widow?
Hey, some careers DO have age restrictions. If he attempted to become a model ,he would be turned down for the very same reason. Gigolo career is not different - it is for young , athletic and good looking guys. And, frankly, I doubt if it makes any sense to change the way thing are . Just imagine how fashion magazines would look like if forced to be EOE ...

sure seems to me that the guy's girlfriend shoulda figured out his age, their age difference, or whatever her issue was.
And it is EASIER to file age discrimination in the workplace if 40 is accepted gracefully.
