I came to check things out, maybe meet a special someone in person, to fill the emptiness in my life.
Instead, tragedy struck in my life. These people came to me with open arms, and so much love in their hearts, I couldn't leave. .
Now, I have an even greater emptiness in my life, but with the friends I've made here, they fill my heart with some joy and happiness that I crave to have more of.
I can leave at anytime, but I always keep coming back, if I do take a break. Why? The love of great friends!!
Thanks MD for letting me be a part of YOUR FAMILY, while mine was falling apart. I think it's pretty amazing how a person can just fall bass ackwards into a situation where they can find comfort, support and a general non-judgemental environment. I'm glad you've found just a tiny bit of peace, ponie... 
Speaking of a hell of a lot of posts... (yeah, it was a crappy segue... so SHOOT me!) I am quite in awe of the number of posts by you guys. Here I am looking forward to hitting 30 and some of you guys... well, damn! Give me some time, though. I'll catch up! So did any of you 'celebrate' when you hit posting milestones? (I'm having one of my killer chocolate desserts to celebrate my 30th!  )

I joined just because it was a free site after paying for a few not free ones that really aren't better. I can't say I find this site good for dating as much as really the blogs. I now am addicted to them. I've talked to some really nice people men and women on here and met one. I do think there are some awesome people on here and that the site is run in a way that makes it fun to get involved either reading or commenting.
