oh great thanks daisy,,,I will let her do her thing,,then have been worried she might wanna eat them or something .....thanks,,,i will let her and see what happen will keep you all informed.

jeans, the only thing I really had to worry about is laz laying on one so I did stay near when he was nursing....
PS I tell everybody Laz is gay ( never neutered and never had ANY poor baby lol)

hahaha thats sweet of him.....naw not gay,,,just a great dad..
Cash had a puppy but it was born dead she never got to nurse it ,,,and then Missy had her pups and Cash wasn't aloud around them till they were about three weeks old ,,and thats when Auntie cash started the butt cleaning ,,,,so she nows all about that
She cleans the momma cat as well her face ,ears....

I have gone back and reread this entire thread.. some posted about no kill shelters and places to help with spay/neutering of ferals
until last week, my mom had 19 stray kitties at her house.. it started out as 4 adults, ( from the same litter apparently).. they were all preggers..my mom called the adoption shelters and when they found out how many she had, they refused to return her calls.( I know my mom made at least 4 calls to this adoption center). mom was prepared to make a "hefty" donation to this adoption agency for their help..
the feral spay/ neuter places in our area are all mobile units that go from town to town.. most of them are no less than 90 miles a way at the least..mom could not make that drive.. so last week, my Papa B called the city animal control folks.. they came out and captured most of them.. I think there are 4 or 5 that managed to stay hidden while the lady was there..
my mom has been crying for days now.. she refused to stay at the house while the animal control was there. Mom has kept on of the youngest babies.. he is in the house and doing fine.. but the thought of these gorgeous, sweet babies being killed has her nerves shot all to hell now.. and what really pissed me off.. I had been supporting this adoption agency by purchasing their yearly cook books.. they have a web address on the back of the book.. I'm gonna send them an email and tell them exactly what I think about thier "so helpful" assistance for my mom...

To often Shelters ,,,think they are doing the right thing,,,I think they get tuff and forget about the people who help these anamils and why.
That is why I havent taken any of these kitten to the local shelter....it is ran by people who have been doing this for yrs and if they "they" think something is bad or "they " think it should be put down they do it . They have likes for certtin breeds and the rest don't stand a chance of getting out .
my sisiter adopted a dog from there ..and it attacked her cat,,,she took the og back and told them as much,,,they have this dog on the front page of there ad,,,saying she was returned because the people didnt know how to treat her,,and she made a mistake and chased a cat,,,which she didnt do ,,,she had the cat in her mouth and was shaking it ,,,,big diff from chasing one to wanting to kill one .
they also will not let people in to see the kittens or pups...They would rather kill them.
I resuced my golden from there and at the same time they have about a 6month old female shepard ,,,i put my name on her ,,,if they didnt get her a home " cuz i thought they had a better chance of finding her one " This place called me to tell me they were putting her down ,,,she had come down with distepper...I ask if I could have her,,,,not pay the $150.00 pull fee and try to save her at my vet,,,they told me no,,,,if I couldnt afford the 150.00 i couldnt afford the dog , I tried to reason with them and explain why should I pay 150.00 if she wasnt going to make it thru but put the money into vet bills,,,they cared about "the money " not the dogs.
so I do not support them in any way.
