Great Tahoma. Four days and you're already seeing results? Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. Hopefully you have people around you that's giving encouragement and positive vibes.
This morning blueberry almond crisp cereal. Just had chicken pasta/veggie alfredo (passed on most of the cream sauce) for lunch. Will probably do at least 300 calories on the bike, which should wipe out either breakfast or most of lunch. I burned 1,010 calories yesterday, all told. I had to, I ate three Panera Bread brownies (Gawd they looked sooooo good, couldn't resist). Today's also weight-lift day, so I'll probably do some sets.
Not sure about dinner, yet.
Mo

I'm on my third glass of water or iced tea, plus I had probably a cup of nonfat milk in my cereal this morn.

I drink 2 liters of water per day... I was hooked on Life Water but had to cut that out due to the carbs and sugar. I don't drink soda pop or coffee so there are no worries there.
Thanks Mo! I have you guys for support and the folks here at work are very supportive as well.

Yesterday was what do you call it? When you take a break? Anyway, we had food not on my diet. Today I had coffee only because I felt too sick for my usual. I have an infected tooth and just started the antibiotics to take care of it. The dentist will fix it Tuesday. At lunch time I did my breakfast drink and had early dinner of left overs. Coffee again I have tried contacting the Geek-a-Cycle people twice and no joy. No way will I order if I cannot get some person to give me more info. So, still nothing on that. I expect to be much more energetic after kicking the infection out! Woohoo! Gonna fix it!

Lunch was broiled salmon with broccoli and asparagus. meatless Reubens broiled with light butter My mouth is watering as I write (and not just from the food, y'Cuties).
Spirit, better go with a brand name. I bought my current exercise bike (Schwinn upright) on sale at Sears. I've been using the heck out of it and so far so good.
Hugs of support to all my fellow MD Weight Loss peeps.

I got an email back from them! I think if I buy a good recumbent bike I can buy the table from them. I need the measurements tho. So, at least I got someone. I changed the email, sent from one no one sends forwards to. People send those forwards to you and not blind copy, they mess you up.

I was just reading about a Duke University study of low carb vs. low fat diets...veeeerrrrrry interesting. Looks like Atkins had it right - this is supposed to be the very first randomized, controlled comparison of Atkins vs. low fat, and not only was weight loss better on Atkins, all the cholesterol numbers were better too...
Duke University study
For a carb addict like me, this would be super painful...hmmmmm.... I wonder just how tough I am...

Well I had brunch today and not telling what it was, it's horrible! But for dinner had half of a salad and about a cup of raspberries. I love raspberries! We used to grow them in our yard when I was a kid.

Oh, Heaven hun, I hear ya about the carbs. I couldn’t even “think” of a life without bread and crackers and everything else. I’m just too weak, I guess.
Don’t worry, sign, we’ve all been there (I was just last night – three Panera Bread brownies? (sniff)…what was I thinkin’!!!….lol)
Spirit, sweetie, if I was there I’d make sure you took your water breaks (turns on the timer).
Becky’s always hot; just goes without sayin’.
I like the way Katts thinks (never a wrong time to eat when yer-a-hungry…lol)
I was out at the local bar tonight listening to tunes and having a couple rum and diet cokes, but on the way home passed a 24-hr McDonalds, and, being the last time I ate was 5pm, just had to grab a bite. I know, never eat past 7pm, isn't that the saying? But I was just too dang hungry. I burned off 575 calories and lifted weights yesterday, so I believe I covered myself.
So why do I still feel guilty?????

^^^^ Mo! Don't you know yet that guilt is fattening? When you eat food, tell your body, 'in with the good and out with the bad' and visualize the parts that are bad for you going out faster than the parts that are usuable by the body for other than weight gain. Also, bless your food to raise it to the highest vibrations before you eat it so it is better for you. 9-9-5 is a good energy number to raise the vibrations of food.
