I have always been curious as to what the price of gas is around the country. It has been steady here at about $1.89 to $1.99 a gallon, and thats ridiculous. The highest it got that I can remember is about $2.19 and that was this past summer. Currently it is $1.99.
How about you all?

If that’s wining I would rather ‘loose’!
Thanks for your sympathy Heaveninawildflower
The whole country was brought to a stand still in 2000 by the fuel protesters, and the government backed down!
I think we are nearly ready to start over!

For rural people like myself gas conservation comes natural because we don't waste a lot of trips. When I'm off work I seldom even start my truck. I did take a friend to work this morning due to the snow.
I drive my full sized pickup when I need to haul lumber to a jobsite or something but mostly I drive the Ranger because it's cheaper.

Oooohhh, a revolution!!!! I'm SO ready for one too. Please don't start without me, I figure another year and I'll be able to go and do whatever I please...and it would please me no end to even try to do something to stop the insanity!!
Had to elaborate a little - not just oil prices, but skyrocketing costs in general due to absolute craziness - if I drink a cup of coffee and burn my mouth because it's too hot, it's not my own fault??
So Devon - can we start with England and move on from there?
