I remember those days Pam, can even remember when back as a teenager I could do the same thing only then it was a $5.00 bill.

Now, if you're on your last drops, and want to fill up, it's $50. at least. 
Still, in the grand scheme, it's good we can own one. Get around easily enough, and have them to complain about.

IT HIT $3.05 AT THE LOCAL WALMART TODAY. WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER, WE HAD A SMALL CAR THAT COULD BE FILLED FOR $3.05!!! (10 GAL)

$ 3.19 here, and I just filled up for the second time this week, I might be able to wait until Monday morning to fill up again...
Unless I go snowmobiling, then I have to buy premium, I went through $40 a week ago. IN ONE DAY !!!!!!!

Gas in OK went from $2.89 to $2.97 to $3.01 in less than a 24 hours period.

My '94 Crown Vic really loves to drink up the gas.
Someday I'll get a settlement then it's a gas saver for me.

Our gas on base here in Okinawa is 2.99 a gallon, I could not tell you how much it is out in town, they do it so differently.

$3.09 at our local BP....... Our Suburban is a gas drinker too............. Good thing hubby only has to drive 2 miles to work every day..................

Okay...gonna age myself her some, but I can remember when I could buy a bucks worth od gas, and cruise up, and down the Blvd, all nite... Now it's up to $3.09 around here... If I was to drive into a station, and say give me a bucks worth of gas, they wiould probably ask me if I wanted to drink it there, or take it with me..
Good one LH you sure have a lot of talent if you can actually stop that thing on a dollar!! around here, a really quick click will run ya about $1.22 
I should not do this but,,,,,,,, I can recall when I used to swing in for gas and fill up for a dime!! ,,,,,,,,,,, it was a mini-bike  a gallon back then was 26 cents  man im old!!

I never look at the price per gal,, seriously!!  why piss yourself off before hand,, I just put in $20 worth,,,, go in and pay for it,,, and wait till I get back in the truck to get pissed-off because my gas gage "Dont Freaken Work!!!" it never moves!! Its stays on "E"  when I was 16 that meant Eeeeeeeyourrrrrr ok! there was that "ghost 1/4 tank rule thingy" all us young folk lived by!

I have diesel trucks and one diesel car, so I watch diesel fuel prices only. Today WalMart had the cheepest at $3.38 and the highest was $3.72.
Yesterday I was out in my car and coasted (out of fuel) into the station down the road from my house. I put $10 in and told the lady that I would've put more in but I was afraid of getting pregnant. She didn't get it but everybody else in line did.
Filled up at Krogers this morning at $3.54.

my gas cap is one of them low ones, but I always remember to squat instead of bending over hell,,,,, if there gunna screw ya, you may as well make them work for it!
