I noticed a .30 difference in gas in towns that are only 6 miles apart today here in Wisconsin.
Gas was 3.20 in one and 3.50 in another.Diesel was around 3.79 in both

I filled up on Friday for $3.04 but here in the little town I live near it's $3.09 or higher. I'm out in the country and no bus service here. I'm stuck with driving 20 miles a day to work. Also no one near to car pool with either.

Last fillup was 2.97 but I see we're mostly at about 3.02 around here right now.

on TV some areas in Alberta,Canada
have no fuel, cause of a refinery
problems.

$2.37 a gallon at the shell station. 
And only a 2 hour wait to fill up.

yeah... you and everyone else! We are being "psychologically conditioned", for lack of a better way of putting it. The price goes WAY up, then comes back down, then it goes back up, and comes down again, but not as much as before, and when it finally stablizes, it will be at a level that (supposedly) everyone will accept, not necessarily be happy with, but accept nevertheless.
SUCKS, don't it?

it takes ages for a solution to be accepted by all
that is why, any solution today , needs long time
to gain a universal acceptance.
e.g the diesel engine and any other engine.
In the meantime no other solution on the horizon
That sucks

Although that's my situation, It may not be the norm. For many people, it's hard enough to make ends meet. Then to have to worry about the cost of your transportation cutting into your food budget. I'm sure is very stressful. Although I do not know the price of gasoline I do know what I pay when I fillup. Just last year I remember paying about 49 dollars to fill the caddy up from empty. But now it cost me somewhere between 65 and 70 dollars. Now if you are a single mother with the cost of daycare which is very expensive coupled with the rising cost of everything else, it can be very challenging. These are the people that I feel for. I'm sure their wages havent kept up with the cost of this inflationary bliss.

Yanno, Silver, what's nice, is that although you're of the means, you don't lose sight of the fact that for many people, it's a stretch to fill the gas tank. It's a choice between food or gas. You're definitely in the minority. I salute you.
