geeeze,  some of the names these people have 'cum' up with...these are men and women and the sounds of some of them, turns me off from even LOOKING at their profile. i mean, 'sircumalot', 'longdonghairy', 'bushbaby', 'tungngrove' . NO these aren't from this site, but are some names from other sites i have seen....
and i thought 'danger!' was a rough name!

Um...I get told mine sounds dirty but honestly, it's nothing like that. I can't remember who started calling it me or why but it was a long long time ago, long before I was old enough to even think about anything like that.

I have had a few remarks concerning mine, especially asking if I am really a brat. I just tell them, was given the nickname by a creepy, married, former employer, becaues I wouldn't stop running when he was chasing me around the desk. So, I am proud of it.

I would go with a nickname but I would have my account deleted due to the crudeness of those names. I am indeed exiled but not for that(more for the truth and entertainment value though)

Well, to be honest. My profile name derives from 2 entities. I know this may sound corney, but when I was an on air DJ, the spotlight was put up and I had to figure out what the heck to call myself. So Misty Waters it was. I smoke Misty's and I love the water. It's a very sentimentally driven name LOL. I know. I know. geeky huh.

May I ask, what's wrong with "bushbaby"? G.Durrell once told in Africa local people call very cute lemurs this way. Creatures with big eyes, long fingers, looking like as a touchy small elf.
Why you don't suppose it's kind of "coding", message people want to sendand to share interests?
I completely agree there are some very provocative ones. :)
But still we see in the image we inclined to see, or we base on our experience, positive or negative one.

Though most swear to knowing what my name means... they usually don't and make assumpitons about it, until I break it down for them. My name has nothing to do with oral sex, unless YOU choose to take it that way, I have this name because I am addicted to the candy M-N-M's, and ever since I was young I had the nic m-n-m, or Melts. So once I joined up (some odd years ago), coming up with a name that meant something to me was easy.
As for those other names, lol, wow, ok can't stop laughing. I don't know... I guess they figure that the more outragous the name the more people would want to look, sort of the whole any attention even if it is bad, is still good.

Btw the YOU wasn't meant to be taken personally by anyone, I am just saying it is how people take the name, some right off the bat ask if my name is a refrence to the candy and others take it to the other extreme(oral sex), it just all depends on who is reading it and how they interpret it. So if I did offend anyone with the you, I am sorry.

well take mine. I get a lot of mail asking if i really believe i am the devil, and being a smart a** i send it back with yes and do you want a deal. but as for it being what i think i am, no, does it say what i feel, yes. the mind works in devilish ways, and come up with things that most wouldn't think of saying. and most out of chat have called me the devil for just my thoughts. so i figured its better to be the devil you know, then the one you don't.
But it is all in there perspective of the person reading the profile. I know I do it at times, but some there are no other way to say it. I mean how ya gonna take "longdonghairy". lol. just take it as it comes. either as a big joke, or as someone that thinks of a catchy name that sticks with them.

I started out as SoloU2?... people kept asking if that had something to do with StarWars. Then for a short time I was HeatSeeker (you figure it out), and finally I adopted the name of an ancestral estate in northern Wales, i.e. Greystone. Most sites wouldn't let me have Greystone without adding a number after it, so I became Greystone1.

I'm into boating, scuba diving, underwater photography and filming, the beach and anything else related to the ocean. There are not many things I've seen while out on the ocean that look wilder than a summer squall whipping across the ocean.

I love cats. So, I decided to go with a cat theme on the net. Now, I do remember a wonderful man informing me what Kattsmeow ment,,,I stayed with the name here anyway.
Oh, and I do occasionally purr,and I do have very sharp claws too.
