My dad was Infantry. Started out in the 10th Mt, and transfered to the 3rd Division. He made the landing at Anzio and other landings in the south of France. He earned the the Distinguished Service Cross, the Legion of Merit, 2 Bronze Stars, 4 Army Commendation Medals, 4 Purple Hearts the French Croix de Guerre with Silver Star and the French Fourragere to the Croix de Guerre. He spent 30 years in the military, serving in WWII and Korea, as well as establishing the American Biathalon Team.
This is all fresh right now because I'm writing his obituary tonight.
He believed once a soldier, always a soldier. He was always my hero.

Currently:
My son - US Army (He's back at Bragg, NCNative!)
A Step-brother - US Army
One nephew - US Marines
One nephew - US Marines Reserve (recently returned from Iraq)
Previous:
My Ex - US Army (does me being married to him at the time count as me serving?  )
One brother - US Marines and US Army
Two uncles - One in the US Navy and one in the US Army (WWII)
Grandfather - US Army (WWII)
Two Great-great Grandfathers - Both Union soldiers in the Civil War - one was taken prisoner and died at Andersonville Prison, Fort Sumpter, GA
I know there are more, but I haven't confirmed all of them through my genealogy research yet!

I was Navy, I worked the flight deck of a carrier...
my Dad did reserves, his brother Tom was in Vietnam
My grandfather was a Medic in the pacific theater during WW2
I know I have had relatives serving all the way back to the Union Army during the Civil war....

My ex was a marine.... semper Fi
I was usaf right out of high school i was in for 3 years.... yes and i also worked on a flight line and inspected aircraft parts. before planes took off.. Sweet N Louisiana

My father served in the RCAF from 1939-1960. I went to 11 schools in 13 years.......

god TT I remember those days...terrible times...I was able to read all about it in that nice fancy LIFE magazine.......What a lucky princess I was! 
I have the book, bought by my father(SqL RCAF) called A Bright Shining Lie----Neil Sheehan,,,haven't had the time to read it but have offered it to others who are serving.

U.S.M.C. Ooorah! 6 years, 1 month, 5 days. I was the first in my entire family history to serve. One brother served a couple of years after me toward the end of my tour, also a Marine. One sister was Army. A few of my siblings tried, I think, but couldn't pass a drug test or something, not sure.

I briefly attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy for nine months and 19 days.
My dad served in the Iranian Army for two years back in the 60's.

Great great great Grandfather, CSA, Calvary, Mosby's Raiders
My Dad was Navy, Underwater demolitions, WWII.
I was USAF, FAC(forward air controller), VN
My son is US Army, Bosnia, Iraq(twice) and Afganistan.
