Had a wonderful day today. Spent time with the family, at the park, just talking and getting to know each other again, for the first time. Made me think of my friends here at MD. I thought would it be nice if there was a thread just for folks to check in and let each other know how they are doing. I'm checking in and I'm doing just fine....

Checking in:
Relaxed today then finally cleaned out my car. Took it over to a friends to have it checked out because it started overheating. Finally ended up at Auto Zone and they said that it was a Code 1299....a sensor is bad.
Other than that I watched Star Wars episode III revenge of the Sith and saw a little of everyone here in that movie.
...guess I was missing you all

I am awesome, besides the fact that I was talking to a friend on the phone this morning then the phone died. We were having such a wonderful and intellectual conversation too. Rats...

Yeah, Sweet. I hear ya. I really hate it when that happens also. But if the person is a friend then be sure that he/she understands and is still your friend.

My Saturday was uneventful, did a few chores, took a ride in the country, just for the heck of it.....worked on a jig saw puzzle.....

Snappy checking in...let's see I washed my car and detailed the inside of it... gave the dog a bath(he loves the water hose)... shopped at my favorite store(Bath & Body Works.. I love to smell good) and made tacos for dinner... and then hubby and I watched a movie and now.. here I am

Won $40.00 at AA Bingo last night, after helping cook dinner for a bunch of newcoming drunks-I also learned to work MY FIRST digital camera, so I got photos of the party tray I did (I could cater!  ).
Today, I'm gonna go to my first Speed Dating event...AFTER HAVING DONE SOMETHING TOTALLY STUNNING, FRIDAY NITE: Yep, I DID go to that Singles Dance, and, you know what? I WAS THE BELLE OF THE BALL!  I can REALLY DANCE!
So...so tonight, it's SPEED DATING...No expectations. Anybody done this? I'm home from 1pm-4pm today, to research how to do this right...LET ME KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO/WEAR, etc.

I'm not doing a heck of a lot today. I went to the water this morning with my coffee. It was nice.. The ocean is just amazing sometimes..
I will be heading out a bit later to do the regular errands... that's all. It looks like it may rain here but hasn't yet.
