A friend emailed me about a interesting subject in his reading concerning political ploys. The way it works is you act like you are way too enlightened to even acknowledge another person's point of view or ,seemingly, that they even exist as sentient beings. The tactic works best if you propose that engaging a person of such lowly status in any sort of exchange, no matter if they are only trying to understand your point of view better or not, is uneligtened behavior. Any discourse ,no matter how civil, is unelightened. You elivate yourself to a postion so lofty and profound that you are beyond reproach. Then invite others to join you so that they too can make a big show of being ultra-civilized, cultured, sophiticates who can't be bothered to even respond those of less enlightened perspectives on life.
But this tactic has numerous flaws. First of you have to find people that are relatively ignorant to the basis of your premise of superiority. Then you have to pursuade people that any one that's fimiliar with this premise, and that does not concur with you, is " curse", flawed, confused, and as equally misguided and lacking as you are profound and god-like.

I think I'm starting to understand the way you communicate better bk...
look great robo.. nice ploys and tricks with the graphics... he akwardly mentions in a blaring attempt to save a thread veering dangerously close to being locked..

People aren't cursed because they disagree!
They just are themselves, with their own set of values and ideas.
It's how things are stated that make the difference-we've all messed up, said the wrong thing.
It's whether or not we can move on without holding grudges, as some do.

You miss out on a lot if you refuse to move on. Sometimes , though, you have to stand up for what you think is right. If somone uses you as a door mat in order to make themselves look good I think its only fair that you set the records right.
