My Minister called me at work yesterday and asked me to bring Wyatt..my son to the church at 11 on Labor Day for an all expense paid trip to Miller Park to watch the Brewers game.

Labor Day union picnic, free food, pop, beer, clowns for the kids, politicians. I'm manning a fundraising can for a coworker's son with a rare form of cancer.

Long weekend? Wow, I work on Monday. Yes, I will labor on labor day.
Everyone might want to thank all the people that are working too. Gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants,,,,etc.
Me? I look for a very slow day at selling books.

My mom's country club has a labor day picnic every year on that Sunday, so I'll be there with my family. Monday, I have a doctor's appointment. What? A doc working on a holiday?

I'll be working. Between my renovation project, school, my job, and normal chores I really don't have much if any free time. Maybe one day.
