There used to be a time when it was pretty unique and special if you had a tatoo.
Now it's only unique and special if you DON'T have one.
Have they gotten boring?
Maybe it depends on where you have it.

I don't mind them but I'm not interested in a tattooed woman either. Meaning one or two small ones are fine but I'll likely pass on a woman who covers herself with them.
Just a personal preference.

I have 3 tatoos, all are hidden and all mean something personal. However I do get tired of seeing the same old tatoo on people, like a "copy, paste" job. JMHO

I just want to say that not all tattoos are interesting. But some are. Ya know, I really don't get the idea with the trend which some women have chosen lately..... the tattoo at the small of their back just above their a$$ crack. If it is supposed to be sexy, it really isn't but I can say that showing off a tattoo "In the front" at a women's lower abdomen is much more interesting. That's the kind of place I'd be zeroing in anyway. Ya get me to look there instead, not at your buttcrack.

I don't find any of my tatt's "boring". And I really don't care if someone else does, because I did them for me, not for anyone else. Some people write music, some people sing, some people write poetry, others tattoo as a form of expression.
Mine are all memoriam tatts, and to me they hold a very special, personal significance to that which they are inked for.
I've never had any complaints about my lower back tatt, and it's not on my crack.... Striving perhaps you many want to try doggy style with a girl with a nice tatt and tell me you didn't enjoy the view.

I have 2 tattoos and am planning on one more. The largest one is on my ankle. The other is hidden and few people know it's there. Both are of cats and I love them! I didn't get my first one until I was 50. Don't know why I waited so long, but I know I got them because I wanted them and no peer pressure or anything else to make me do it. They are for me and as long as I enjoy them, that's all that matters.

I have mine picked out. And the last thing it will be is "boring". It represents someone that has been extremely important to me for years.
And if I regret it when I'm old...
Oh well.

I guess it depends on the person, or the tattoo's, Most people have stories on why they have them, what they mean... etc...
One of my favorite stories growing up was "The Illustrated Man" by Ray Bradbury... it was a fascinating tale....

brad paisley check you for ticks
Every time you take a sip In this smoky atmosphere You press that bottle to your lips And I wish I was your beer In the small there of your back Your jeans are playing peekaboo I'd like to see the other half of your butterfly tattoo.
Hey that gives me an idea Let's get out of this bar Drive out into the country And find a place to park.
'Cause I'd like to see you out in the moonlight I'd like to kiss you way back in the sticks I'd like to walk you through a field of wildflowers And I'd like to check you for ticks.
I know the perfect little path Out in these woods I used to hunt Don't worry babe I've got your back And I've also got your front Now, I'd hate to waste a night like this
I'll keep you safe you wait and see The only thing allowed to crawl all over you when we get there is me.
You know every guy in here tonight Would like to take you home But I've got way more class than them Babe that ain't what I want.
'Cause I'd like to see you out in the moonlight I'd like to kiss you way back in the sticks I'd like to walk you through a field of wildflowers And I'd like to check you for ticks.
You never know where one might be There's lots of places that are hard to reach I gotcha.
I'd like to see you out in the moonlight I'd like to kiss you baby way back in the sticks I'd like to walk you through a field of wildflowers And I'd like to check you for ticks.
I'd sure like to check you for ticks...
