Sort of mid brown, I'd suggest - but then, what about your name? "Sweet Mid Brown" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Do they still have those computer programs in salons that let you try out different looks? I tried that when I got my hair cut once. It was fun.

Why don't you try those wash out colors. You can color your hair and it washes out it about 6 washes. So if you hate it...you can stay up and wash your hair all night and be back to normal in the morning!!

Now LB.. you know us women like to be a little adventurous at times... and we are seldom ever satisfied with our natural hair color. Mine is naturally very very dark.. and I really dislike it..

Yeah .... just my own preference that a person be their self .... no dyes or make up or makeover or lipo or whatever else they can think of .... I don't like someone for what they're capable of looking like, just who they are.

I used to play around with my hair color, I've never been a heavy make-up kinda gal.. .. now days my motto is "AS IS".. I don't think too many men in my area are too thrilled with my philosophy...

The "experts" say that if you go to dark as you get older, it tends to age your looks... I think it depends on your complexion

I follow my Aunts advice. No one need to know if you have gray hair. She is in her 80's too. 
I also informed my 30 some year old niece that her gray hair was for the birds!
She finally listened to her Aunt Katt and got it cut below the shoulders and colored.
I couldn't believe how it made her look. She had guys stopping in their tracks!
She loves me best now too.

I like you as a brunette, the 2nd pic in on your profile the one where you have on a floral jacket with teal shirt.
I say do your hair brown with blonde highlights. That'll look really pretty on you.
