Yep TT.......I'm gonna hire a geisha guy and have him pull my cart....or whatever that thing is called! 
A horse would be good too, maybe go back to the stagecoach days......

we have the same road signs near saul st marie,
share the road with horse and buggy
yes, they said it will hit $100 by year end

We have lots of Amish that live around here in Indiana......the horse and buggys have to have flashing lights now on the back of their buggy's because of cars crashing into them at night........modernization....

Always fun driving around Shipshewana and hearing that familiar "squish" under your tires ..... to bad they're not required to have pooper scoopers.

a company in Quebec ,canada is having hard time with the ministry of transportation here.
they manufacture an electric car which the ministry sees it unfit to be on the roads
they call themselves zenn cars. really cute car and saw it on TV.
but, they r havin hard time convincing the gov that it is fit and meets their standards
lots of similar cars met the same fate
in US same thing. electric cars are doomed. because gov do not like them. why? no clue
with 100 bucks a barrel, gov has to review its policies

PA buggies , the ones I saw few years ago, were different,
they were all black.
I am not sure that the rising in Oil price wil deter anyone
from using their cars.
Over and above, do not forget the promises given for farmers ,
that their financial problems will end, if they get into the Ethanol
business. That is another angle that should not be overlooked.
If this market is affected it will be another kick in the nuts
for the farmers.
Oil sand here in Canada also supplies a huge portion of US fuel needs

it was the lowest rate for the Canadian dollar some time ago
