Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.
Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.
One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute.
"Gimme a break," said Julie Gale, who runs the campaign against sexualising children called Kids Free 2B Kids.
"We are talking about little kids who do not understand that "ho, ho, ho" has any other connotation and nor should they," she told the Telegraph.
"Leave Santa alone."
A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.

How ridiculous is this.. it is NOT meant in derogatory manner and has been a catch phrase for over a century if Im not mistaken.. why dont they attack the crude foul wordings in the music?? the crap that is piped into stores without being edited?? yeah i had the pleasure of explaining to my daughter (5 at the time) what " ho bag" and the "N" word were about  after we had heard them in the store as we shopped .. needless to say we dont shop in that store anymore  whats next expecting Santa to NOT wear red or spout YO YO YO???

Target Bans Bell Ringers
and a couple years ago Target banned Salvation Army Kettles in front of their stores...
the Boy Scouts may lose their Tax exempt status because they do not allow gay scoutmasters...

Walmart is just as bad, if not worse.
There were some stores after 9/11 that told employees if they wanted to fly the flag, they had to pay for it

so I guess everyone on my list gets coal....most stores arent saying merry Christmas,,,,,oh well save me money

Santa come down the chimney, there stands  "Oh Sannnnnnnntaaaaaaaaa, wanna stay and play" she asks....
Poor ole Santa... doesn't skip a beat and says "ho ho ho, I gotta go, gotta get the toys to the kids you know".
Next house, down the chimney he goes, there he encounters
"Hellllooooooooooooo Santa, care to stay for awhile"? she asks in her sultry voice...
Santa gets a big grin and replies "Hey hey hey, I gotta stay, can't get up the chimney with my dick this way"!

I really like Target, but I was mad when they stopped the bellringers. Its for a good cause. It's all the fault of a few nasty customers. The bells they use are small now, and not loud enough to cause ear damage.
