Well, first off, let me wish everyone here a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm a little worried, though, about whether a turkey will be a part of my day or not - unless, of course, I count myself. My bird has been cooking FOREVER, and at this point, I have serious doubts as to whether it will be ready in time for dinner later on this afternoon.

I read and followed label directions, but I'm convinced at this point that I bought...
.....a dyslexic turkey!!!!!!!!

It doesn't appear to want to get done, and I did just like the instructions said....

It's been cooking at 6 degrees for 350 hours now, and it simply
WILL NOT GET DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6 degrees would have been extremely WARM for my ex!!!
But then, I always thought that SHE was the turkey!

KAOS - at least I can look at this in a positive light. On Sunday, most people will be eating leftovers. Mine will be fresh and hot! (The turkey will be, too! )

Not quite....I looked all over for a pair of shoes for my turkey that were made backward, but all I could find were the normal ones. I'm gonna have to get an earlier start on that next year!

Maybe you should have talked more clearly and more slowly while reading
the instructions to the turkey. Auditory processing disorder is common among dead turkeys.
