I hate doctors.
From dentist, to the proc. I hate seeing doctors. Huge phobias here. I go for and on the vicodine ride, for simple blood work even. Weinie? Sure.
So what are some of your phobias or fears? How do you ride em out when you must face them.

I dislike crowds... anything more than 2 or 3 people drive me nuts...
so the doctor's waiting room, going to the DMV, anyplace I have to wait in a crowd is torture...

Clocks that tick!!  I cant have them in the house, I remember as a child having one in my room and thinking it was ticking my life away. We had one at work and no one could beleive I could hear it even tho it was one floor above my office, i had to keep removing the batteries.
The horrible squeaking of cotton wool and the feel of it

Don't like large crowds and try to avoid them. Also not big on Dr's and try to avoid when possible.

I hate doctors. Burns I have your same phobia.
to overcome it I attended two courses of First Aid and I was volunteer in hospitals....but my fear has not disappeared.....no no no

Exactly! Nothing like sensory overload to make you climb out of your skin.
And nothing as good as the quiet when the loud people are done. ahhhh!

cant think of any really.. If something bothers me I either get rid of the something... or SMASH it  sheesh now I'm really thinking here... what AM I afraid of?? besides something happening to my kids ... nothing I can think of.. I faced all my demons and fears years ago and put them in their place maybe there is one.. hmmm.. but its not a fear per se but more of a survival thingy.. when someone verbally attacks me...I step back and check to see if 1. the attack is worth my time.. 2. if what I am about to retort with is gonna leave lasting hurt..(like times I want to go off on my sister but don't because I love her and I could really devastate her  )3. would me going off stop that persons actions or just bring me to their level ??? 4.. this is lately ..ahem.. is the person baiting me to retaliate and attack so that I could be made out the bad guy and kicked off here  ?? in most all cases it the end result that i think of.. and dont react... (well okay not like I used to ) some people dont learn that tho...they think nasty and crude and obnoxious is the way to be to RULE the world
okay um waiiiiiiiiit... I am a bit .. okay more than a bit .. afraid of my sisters  driving
