I'm not sure where I stand here. On one hand we live in this "judeo-christian" society known to have values and virtues; we are also are instilled the faith to be randomly picked by our judicial system to preside over other's cases and fates (jury duty). On the otherhand as just another example, there was a poll/study done asking what people loved most in what order. Most people picked their car over their kids! What does all this say about us?

I'm not sure where you stand either, or just what it is you are getting at? People choosing their car over their KIDS? That has to be one of the most asinine things I've ever heard! If you know people like that? And associate with them? RUN, RUN LIKE HELL!
As for the title of your thread, I have no idea what the statistics are for people that are good, smart, dumb or bad. I see a little of those traits in everyone, including myself.
The clincher is, I have learned, sometimes painfully, and other times joyously, all the traits within people. It's all an experience. It's all choices. And in the end, there is no one there to make the choices for you, it's up to you, what you've learned, lived through, experienced and been taught.

My opinion? Most people are dumb as rocks. They believe any kind of crap they see on TV, or any bullshit story someone tells them. Nobody bothers to check things out anymore. If it was on TV, the net, or some dumb ass told them a story, then it's true, no questions asked.

I think that most people are a combination of all four. But someone who doesn't have their priorities straight. I feel sorry for them and avoid them at all costs.

Most people do not have a uniform balance of spirituality, cross cultural knowledge, their own history and street smarts. They don't know how to humble themselves to ask important questions. They do not know how to observe and judge objectively because of ignorrance of the things mentioned above. They are desensitized and many do not have the intuition to cope with the fear of the unknown.

Most folks are so stuck to that cellphone in their ear, they can no longer tell the forest from the trees.  It's really pretty silly! 
I even saw someone at the Rose Bowl Game tuesday, jumpting up and down and waving a team banner all around, all the while talking to someone on her cellphone!! 
What's the big deal about telephone calls? It's not a new technology! We've had telephones for a century!! They just weren't stuck, like glue, to our ear before..  But it wasn't as though we ran and snatched up every phone we ever laid eyes on, just to call Auntie Martha for her latest recipe, or to see if she watched Oprah today.. Who cares??

I've dated some of 'em.. In my weaker moments..
Some were so doggoned ugly they'd stop a bus!! 
But your bridge-trolls are usually more attractive.

I learned a long time ago that we are all f**ked to some degree.
I also learned that the more you keep your eyes and ears open,
and only speak when it's absolutely necessary to do so, the better off you are.
