For me, I am not a day person. The energies of the day seem too congested for me and I can't function with that much interference and negativity. Most are sleeping at night making it easier to feel the world and write.
What keeps you up at night?

Being sick. I AM a morning person. Usually up by 5. My only other reason for getting up at night is to write. I hope to one day soon have someone keeping me up half the night cause they want me.

I stay up late to study. I read history pages, and read technical books. I watch many documentary movies. If you don't exercise your mind regularly it turns into mush.
Once in a while I'll play video games.

I like the night. When everyone is sleeping. What Sadian said.
Oh...and an old dog who has to pee three times a night. That'll do it, too.

night person here .. always have been... i think a lot has to do with what time you were born as to when your AWAKE cycle starts.. I was born at 7:35 at night sooooo BOOM right about then I'm WIDE friggin awake  .. and when you have kids doing some things are just easier at night yanno??

During the week...I can't be up at night cause I work days.....weekends....I am up half the night either playing games online, watching a movie with my sweetie....or "other" things

I agree with Becky. I have one son born at night and he is a night person. The other one was born in the morning and he is a morning person.
I was born in the morning too. I am a morning person.

I dont know exaclty what I'm..... 
I know that I'm not a morning person  .....I like to stay up in the night but I also love sleeping at leat 7 hours per night

Sorry to break the chain - I was born at 9 pm and I'm usually falling asleep then, and usually in the office by 6. My oldest son was born at 4:51 AM, and he's a night owl. The younger one was born at 6 PM, and I think he was about 3 before he FINALLY slept through a night...and he's still the same. I think he's always up.
But what keeps me up at night? My cell phone. I've finally told my office to call me on the landline if it's really important so I can turn the dratted thing off. Otherwise I get SMS text messages every time somebody sneezes...and we're global, so it's 24 X 7 for those calls.
