Sorry Tahoma. We had the annual stalker rally by your house last night and a few of the members took certain liberties  . So far the list states that you need more milk, sugar, and hot pockets, your tire pressure is low in your front right tire, and the dog hasn't shit for a week because of the chocolate cake you left out that night before going to bed. We do apologize for that thermometer incident. Hank got a little too excited when you came down stairs that morning. We also bought grocery's after looking into the cupboard. How can you live on Ravioli's alone? 
...and oh yeah, i almost forgot. Herbie thinks you look cute in your flannel jammies and feet socks.

I know how you feel Dazee! Its -5 here right now. My hot water is frozen in my bathroom sink. Thankfully, not the shower, tub or kitchen, nor the other bathroom. I just hope it will thaw, so I don't have to crawl under there and replace pipes.

In this neck of the woods, the thermometer "historically" bottoms out between Jan 20-24. After that, the days begin to get warmer on average.
Well...today is the 25th and it was -9 f-ing degrees this morning at dawn. So much for Al Gore and his global f-ing warming.
That said, (historically speaking) we are on the upswing to spring as of today!!

Well, it's about 1:30 in the morning here, and just shy of 60 degrees...I filled the hummingbird feeder today and noticed the beginnings of blossoms on the tree I hang it on. The grapefruit still don't feel soft/ripe, really slow this year, but the oranges and tangelos are perfect.

a nice 3 week arctic chill would be great right about now, but . not really wishing for the white stuff any more since KAOS was kind enough to leave pictures. oh well ....

Well, your 70'd be waiting for you later today...my office windows face east so I'm sitting here with warm sun streaming in and the current flock of migratory birds singing up a storm. Current temp is 41, at 8:30 or so, but I can feel the heat of the sun on me through the window.
