If you could take a 2 week vacation what place in the world would you like to see. You can even name more than one place. I would like to see Europe, Australia, and South Africa.

I went to Australia twice and always regretted that I had time only to stop at the airport in New Zealand. I would love to go there and explore the connections the islands have with my native Newfoundland, both of which were explored by Captain James Cook and share several names given by him.

The Greek Isles...then on to Italy and maybe France....definitely will get to Greece before I die...
I also want to go to Portugal...to the Azores. I grew up with many portugese (sp?) people and have hear great stories and have seen fabulous pictures!!!

I guess I'm not as adventurous as everyone else but I'd like to visit Hawaii and Alaska. I love warm tropical areas and I have relatives in Alaska that I would love to visit.

Sign me up for Brazil, please, but I want at least six weeks. I want to find out why so many wonderful rhythms, excellent athletes, and great food all emanate from that country.

Signme, I too have relatives in Alaska. Most of my dad's side of the family. They live in Northpole, not far from Fairbanks. My Uncle went up there in 1976 to work on the pipeline and the rest of the family followed him, except for my Mom and us 6 kids. My dad was even up there for a few years.
As for where I'd want to go....Definately the New England states...I don't know why, but since I was a little girl I've always been intrigued by the colors of the leaves in the fall, the old homes, the old historical fishing towns....I could go on forever...OH, and did I mention that my best friend lives in MA? So, I may get to see my " favorite place in the world" sooner than I'd thought I would.

Alright Ponie! Sounds like a good plan. I'd actually like to do a tour of the entire US if I could. I always thought that sounded like a lot of fun.
