Really with all the he said, she said, thats sometimes arises it really does help to stop the talk that sometimes gets misunderstood....And I like to be able to reread what I need clarification on....

I don't think all that much is misunderstood. We're adults. And if we're honest, what's the big deal? Except if someone uses the edit key or deliberately misleads another. Which is a whole nother topic for a forum.

off site...only as a just in case...but every now and then I create new folders and just delete the old ones.. If I have not needed them for three months time...they are history...
here on Md...I let the site do what they want...but I never go back and look...
it is just easier to say "out of sight..out of mind"... rather than decide to delete...or not delete...was that the question??

Well...you just never really know how short some peoples memories actually are(including mine)...so I just keep them to revert back to in case I(or them) need to clarify things that might be forgotten

I save mail with instructions or info that I have requested. Some I don't delete until they are faded by my burning gaze.......The rest I do on a weekly basis so my computer doesn't get bogged down.

Fessing up....I have saved two from someone who is very special to me.
It gives me a boost when things are less than.
Honestly, it would be very flattering to think that someone saved something I wrote to go back to and enjoy.

The rest I do on a weekly basis so my computer doesn't get bogged down.
not sure how this is a problem..although I have long ago decided to not use outlook express..but instead use a web based email system.. to where no emails are ever saved on my computer directly... therefor..Pammy.. the irs/fbi will not confiscate my computer...trying to get any dirt on you or yours....

I'm too lazy to delete anything, sooo, unless MD or aol, or MSN decides to delete it for me, it's still there and will continue to stay there.

It's funny how people seemingly "forget" what they say/have said, so for those that like to yap behind the scenes, I'd probably save that stuff. Kinda fun to "out" people when they think they can get away with a-hole behavior.

Anything business related or when somebody makes a promise of sorts will be archived. Of course, emails that contain text jokes, etc will be archived as well.
I have used archived emails to remind certain business associates of their obligations or to remind vendors whom I have made purchases with regarding their stated delivery times upon acceptance of my order/funds. That latter part is a pet peeve of mine.
