Simple rule.. if you're gonna say it, own it. That way nothing could ever come back to "bite" you should someone lacking "integrity" save your mail. :)

Does this also go for profiles, and the ability to walk the walk you propose? This is an honest question because someone I still believe in once told me that she would never.... forget it....carry on.....

I am too lazy to delete all those emails, even the ones in my "personal" box.

my apologies. i should have done it this way:
Simple rule.. if you're gonna say it, own it.
profile hiding just to say something, then going back under your "canceled" or "original profile shows the same thing being addressed. I can say it AND own up to it so multiple profiles aren't necessary. My words are also that way because I know what I typed/ said and can back them up. if they sting then they sting, but if I didn't care at times i would never go that far to be heard and hopefully understood.
My full remark was also aimed at the fact that GH pointed out something that I will not get into, but it's apparent that certain similarities do spark wanton remembrances of someone cared deeply for by both of us....

Prolfile hiding? No idea what you are talking about? But at any rate, within the scope of this posting, I said my opinion. At times, it is very useful to save things said in emails, for that matter, letters even. People are funny. And I use that term litely. The selective memory process never needs to be addressed when the written words is saved. I don't know what the rest of your post refers to, GH? At any rate, I answered the orignal post.

Sometimes I save my e-mails and foward them to the President of the United States. mainly the ones where people called me names; meanine, butt head, lint licker, and of course, brick basher. 
He has never read them and got a restraining order against me.

I save every email and put them into a special database along with every profile photograph.
Then I analyse all the data in a Digital Physiognomy software programme I bought specially; so now I know all your secrets, personalities, traits and know who would dare to pick their nose in public.
It takes up my whole life.

I think more people save their emails on here and elsewhere and actually forward them to others then most realize.
Email has a life of it's own. A good reason to be very careful about what one might say in an email.
If I found that an email or message was forwarded by a person, that breaks an unwritten trust and they would be scratched off my list of friends forever in a little less than a nanosecond.

I save some of mine but only for a month or so. Really only keep those from people I communicate with fairly regularly, the junk and stuff goes immediately into the trash.
G-man, just for the record I very very seldom forward any e-mails I get from any source. Just in case youi are taking a poll.
