Well, we're currently planning our 50th reunion...
It was 1960 - the very first star was placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (Joanne Woodward), the very first African American was served at Woolworth's in Greensboro NC and Ike signed the Civil Rights Act; JFK was elected and the world population was about 3 billion.
My friends and I mostly ignored Elvis, we were into the love and peace thing already, hanging out in the Village and singing folk songs from around the world. I even sang a duet with Joan Baez one night...we had a lot of fun, but nope, no till later...

Oh yeah...Marshmallow Fluff on top of a coke...couldn't stir it though because it would foam up and overflow.
Edited to add...you messaged me? I didn't receive a message. Don't tell me mail is down and that's why I haven't been receiving any mail?!

Used to be a little diner called Candyland that catered to HS kids mostly... had cheeseburger baskets... cheeseburgers, best damn fries and a chocolate malt... all for $1.00 And jukeboxes in each booth... stools all around the food bar....lots of laughter, fun and good memories there
Better fries then McDonalds too

I worked in a burger joint when I was in High School. Burgers and fries were 15 cents each and cokes were a dime!
