I think pffffffffft is just kind of a sputter....you know, like you're drinking something and read a really good joke, then have to wipe the monitor.

Pffft, Pfffffffft or any reasonable facsimile, is the sound you make sticking your tongue out and blowing! And it means "yeah Right" or "oh come on now" or "WTF" many translations, whatever your mood is at the time! There is an emoticon for it on Yahoo!

Maybe I need a mistletoe headband. Then again, I'd feel pretty silly walking around the house w/ no one but my dog to kiss me.
