As I understand it, if they don't like your thread topic---for things as trivial as one word in the title--their contention is that they have the right to harass the OP. They can make any kind of statement they want on the thread, including those that constitute racially motivated harassment. Not only that they have the right to following people around that they don't like on to threads that aren't necessarily "provacative" as they put it, and continue the harrassment based on race there.
They also contend that they speak for the majority of the users here. And also have vested themselves with the authority to impose a "guilt by association" policy on any user who comes to the defense of the the person they are harassing. They don't care that they are driving new and old users alike to limit their participation on MD to the less stressful threads, or to the blog area. In fact, they are proud of that fact.
No amount of reasoning is effective on them. They are relentless, cruel, and completely oblivious to reason, even when it is apparent to any rational mind that the premise of their attacks is flawed, In fact the more apparent it becomes they are in the wrong, the worse the attack becomes. Clucking, and prancing about like depraved chickens, they present their deepest, darkest fears to the world in heart-breaking ignorance.
Watching and reading their comments, most notably when they make their disturbing references to race, sometimes I get the distinct impression that the KKK is alive and well, and trolling around on threads nears and dear to all the rest of us, that just want to have a civil discussion in peace.

I have really grown weary of the way our society has made black on white racism socially acceptable.
For instance.....look at one of our members here. Onodun (and all his pseudonyms)......virtually EVERY one of his posts, threads he starts, or blogs he writes is an example of black on white racism.
Yet he is allowed to do it over, and over, and over again. Why?
Is MD afraid of addressing this? Would a white person be allowed to inject such inflamatory racism against blacks over and over and over again?
I doubt it.

Is this really the type of dating site MD wants to run? I can see now why the whole thing is going down the shitter. If someone like the op were to throw this type of rhetoric in my face (in the real world) day after day after day......I would have to remove them from my face.  You cant do that on here though. He knows we are a captive audience if we choose to be here. So I fault MD as a whole for accepting him and his racist agenda.  Nice move MD. Hows that working for ya?

In case you didn't notice this thread is against racism of all kinds, and harassing people because you disapprove of the topic of their thread. There is nothing in the op about "white on black" racism. Don't try to twist it around to support some preconceived agenda.

Then perhaps we can finally have one thread where people don't have to worry about being harassed and attacked on personal level, just because of ignorance.
robo i have no idea what you are talking about......can we please not go through this.....let people have a discussion in peace.....I'm interested in attracting civil discourse, not incessant post from people that think every thing is about them.
i would be more than willing to discuss what ever issues you have with the thread in private like an adult
but it's not right to keep following me around and harassing me in order to effectively deny me the right to post my consciences. doing that constitute a greater wrong than you claim the thread topic does

I'm waiting for a on topic response to the op. So far all I see are complaints about what may or may not have happened in the past. I have a right to post according to my consciences. If you don't like the topic, or the wording, or the way you think I think, don't participate in the thread. But all that's going to happen if I'm harassed based solely on my viewpoint is that I'm going to get more determined. I've read and re-read this and other of my writings, and they are no more or less offensive than the typical threads on MD.

The real question is, why you are doing this? Your character alone, less the crutch of playing the race card on EVERY hand, should be enough to influence people. Correct?

I calls em as I see um.......right now I'm hardly the aggressor. And nothing that has been said thus far has proven anything I've posted in the OP wrong.
It's just chatter.....no substance, no reason, nothing....
Most of the comments I don't even have any idea what there referring to.
The only thing they seem to be doing is valadating the premise of the OP.
Oh and keeping a thread at the top of the GT forum that by all appearances, the majority of responding comments don't like.
