This reminds me of a question that has always bugged me: Did any Canadians ever watch "Due South"?

I watched Due South a couple of times but am with katy on this....it was a bit of a stretch. Mounties only wear their red serge dress uniform for official ceremonies etc...never on a day to day basis for work. The working uniforms are grey shirt, black pants with a yellow stripe....

No Maggie, I'm sure that should be a gold stripe, never, never tell me that a Mountie wears a yellow stripe

That would be the last illusion gone....

It's just about impossible to watch an "American" cop show without getting the impression that the typical cop has killed at least five or six people.

I just wondered if Canucks felt the same way about Due South. I only watched a few episodes because my mother was a rabid fan of the show and we only had one television.

Thanks for the answers.
