When do you throw out a favorite pair of bluejeans?

Like most people who wear jeans I hate to give up a pair they get to be comfortable old friends. The more they are washed and worn the softer they become, so when do you give up and get rid of a comfortable old pair?

i had to throw some away because they had holes in the knees and when i got excited something peaked out. well it was a few years ago but it happened once or twice.

Hey Lacy a lot of women wear them jeans with tights under them too  heck a lot wear em as is cheeks hangin out and all in cali men too 
little story... ahem .. My Ex had this fav pair of cut off jeans he'd wear in the summer .. well we were at a store once and hes fishing in his pocket for $$ to pay the cashier and the crotch ripped out .. insta skirt !! and Mr Happy flopped onto the counter I walked away  and  he just took it in stride and paid and left the poor cashier was in shock... and when he got to the car he just safety pinned it till we got home had me sew the crotch back ans wore them another three years
growing up near Venice Beach I grew up seeing torn and faded and raggedy jeans as the norm in the summer WAAAAAAAAAy before people PAID to have them shredded

Never ever ever My favorite button fly 501s have a tear at one knee and just got a small rip above the back pocket. And I will wear them proudly

becky to funny story think we need to chip in and buy all the guys red Underoos so they can wear the ones they are all haning out of but throwin' out..we'd still get peeks then
