I was just wondering if anyone else will be ALL alone this Christmas eve and day, and I mean no friends or family coming by or going to see.

No, I am not all alone and now you are not either Star
My Spirit, Presence and Love extend to you; yes, I know I am total stranger, but nonetheless it is so.
May you experience Christmas day in mind, heart and Soul with this knowledge. Blessings around you and within you.
Angel

I more than likely will.....I seem to have pissed off the entire family lastnight when I cussed out my sister and my ex and told them that I was going to call cps on them if they didn't get my kids house cleaned up and get that di*ck out of the house so. I'm probably going to go sit at the park or something while everyone is over here and come back when they're gone.

Star....I also in the loney hearts club...I will be all alone, no family, friends or significant other. I hope to spend it here at least with my forum friends. Merry Christmas Star...from Angel
ET...I feel so bad for you! Its not a pleasant way to spend Christmas being in a park. But I can see your dalema too. I been that road before, its not fun. Just a thought...are movie theatres closed all Christmas Day? If not, you could do that. If I could send you some Christmas Din Din, I would....

Well if you HAVE to be alone......as in.....no one is coming to visit, and you cant go visit anyone yourself.......then at least watch "A Christmas Story" and the old version of "A Christmas Carol"......I can remember when I was the little boy getting the Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas......seems like yesterday......All Im trying to say is, dont be alone because you choose to be, get around the elderly, or some children somewhere if at all possible, and if not, try to watch those movies and smile.

Thanks LJ...That was nice of you. I been watching all my Christmas Films already and baking things, Listening to music and chatting on the phone to my daughter and grand babies in Washington state. Its helping some..
ET...your very welcome. Just another idea! If no snow in your area at this time, how about a bicycle ride with a pack pack...

I spent this afternoon at my Grandmothers celebrating with my Aunt, cousins, and their kids. Tomorrow going over my oldest sister’s for the Christmas Day party she always throws yearly for family and friends. Monday going to open gifts with immediate family.
I know, “sounds” like I won’t be lonely, but it'd sure help to do all these things with the support of a loving partner.
When you’re not in a relationship, any holiday sometimes reminds me of that somber saying, “A person can feel alone even on a crowded city street.”
ET, if you’re still persona non grata with the family come over and we’ll knock back a few.

This is my first christmas alone in 8 years. Although I guess I choose to be alone since I was invited to go over to families houses. But I choose not to spend the holiday with people who only see me once every year or few, surely doesn't seem worth it. So I have boycotted holidays in general, just not in the mood for them this year..

Thanks Angel, when I said alone I meant no one even to talk on the phone, you have a child to call, but also know call is not the same as a hug.... so I'll be on here tomorrow.
Movies are open tomorrow, but darn the price these days... I rented a couple, this way I don't even have to get out of my "footed/ back door" pj's
If it's a park like the one by me, I think that would be a nice way to spend the day...but alas it will be raining here tomorrow they say.
Mo mo is so right, alone in a crowd, this time of year sucks w/o that special someone. (family is diff.)

I remember one Christmas that I spent alone when my daughter was with her dad in Texas. I missed HER, but, I actually enjoyed just relaxing and talking on the phone to family and not doing all the usual cooking and all that. If people here are alone, I'm sure alot of us forum ADDICTS will be around to chat with!! Don't let it get ya! Think of all the people that would do anything NOT to be with thier families! That's why mine seems to be spread all over the country! (That was a poor attempt at humor actually, but true). Listen to "Merry Christmas from the Family"........that song will make anyone laugh. Anyway, don't feel bad being on HERE tomorrow.........that's what friends are for!!!

Waiting... you hit that right on the button.
After I feed the foxes and raccoons, spread some extra birdseed, I suppose I will paint the lanai and then spend a little time in "General Talk."
To those who will not be here:
MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS
I hope none of you get coal in your stocking.
To those who will be here:
If I do not catch you tomorrow, MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS
(You will not get coal because you probably filled your own stocking.)

And, wherever daddy has taken her, I hope glamgrl has a Merry Christmas too.
Maybe (hopefully) she will be reincarnated in 2006.

This is my first Christmas "alone". I have neighbors around me...friends that are a phone call away...yet busy with their families...and still, I'm alone. I'd love to have someone here to talk to , laugh with, and share some memories with. Then, after we bored each other to smithereens, maybe we could get to the really fun stuff...LOL
