There is always going to be an exception to the rule, especially when someone like you is out to prove a point because you are motivated by a greater agenda in your mind.
A greater agenda? what like actually putting in a REAL days work instead of slacking off ??...and HAVING to do that or more JUST to be thought of as EQUAL to lazy asses is an agenda ??  Um no its called keeping a job DUH
Any example I use will have someone like you saying "I can keep up and I can beat 'em". That means nothing to what I am saying when you look at the whole picture.
yet you are saying that you can BEAT or are better than them (women)when you say that if a woman does it or helps it takes longer and they cant keep up um DOUBLE STANDARD ANYONE??..
lord if anyone says male chauvinism is lost in this world they need to view this thread

I'm sorry but real men aren't impressed with women that are out to prove something like that any more than they are with some guy that thinks he's special because of what he can do. Pride comes before the fall. References to penis size are uncalled for and you will never see a guy do that to another guy unless he's wanting a fight. If you come in with an attitude, be prepared for less than a warm welcome, but welcome none the less

Sorry to burst YOUR little bubble there Youbetcha but REAL men aren't afraid of a woman who can hold her own on a job site .. they actually appreciate the insight and the multitask ability we bring instead of being AFRAID of them .. oh btw not hte one with the tude  I totally appreciate a REAL man ... know any??

Perhaps that is the differance. We aren't out to prove that we are better than "you", but you seem threatened by it.

The REAL men I've known have ALWAYS been "impressed" with a REAL woman...whether she meant to impress" or not, just by being herself (which often includes "feats of strength or stamina" as well as skills and creativity)

I wasn't shown up by a woman or any man for that matter on the job site...I had great mentoras in the beginning and I took it from there...I started with 4 other apprentices and within 3 months I was the only one left...not everyone is cut out for hard labor, man or woman, but the majority of men who make it will out perform most women. Why is it that you women think it's so important to try to compete with men in the physical skilled world? It's a loosing battle. Just look at pro sports. DUH. I'm completely sick of this Feminist ego equality crap. Do what you want. Just don't expect me to admire you. I'm NOT impressed.

Please tell me that this is not a fair representation of the men on this site. I would hate to think that this is the cream that has risen to the top.
I was hoping to meet someone who would find women to be an interesting and captivating addition to their life and not just a maid servant.
