What is your most coveted possession/s? What makes it so special to you?
One of my most valued possessions is a quilt that my great grandmother handmade. I remember sleeping under it on cold nights in Emerickville, Pennsylvania. That quilt kept me nice and toasty on those icy evenings.
My great aunt pointed out some of the fabric that was used. Several pieces were an old dress that was handed down until it was so worn. Other pieces were of my great grandfather's shirt. My great uncle's shirts make the cut too.
It's a little treasure trove of family history, tenderly stitched to tell its' story.

Art work from children. If my house would start on fire tonight, it is the first thing I would grab!

I'm not sure. I have many things that have been handed down in the family. I have my dad's wedding ring which was reset with half my grandma's diamonds. That may be my most coveted possession. I wear it on a chain around my neck and it never comes off.

My most coveted possession is a 1949 Studebaker Convertible that was handed down from my Grandmother. This beauty is my longest most successful relationship thus far also I could never part with it and I have had offers that made my head swim.

What is your most coveted possession/s? What makes it so special to you? ALL of them! (~ahem~ and that's quite a lot, lol...to put it mildly )
...just because I'd never be able to make up my mind which posession I love better or less.
(OK, so some of the hundreds of yards of fabric I have squirreled away -- somewhere -- has lost favor with me...I'm not so much into double knit polyester anymore )

My dad's old paint cabinet from the basement of the house we lived in since I was six...that was dated back to the revolutionary war. I had it restored and it has pride of place in my living room. I always loved that piece of furniture but it also brings back memories of working on projects with my dad.

The cards and drawings from my children as most have said here.. I have them all and their first lock of hair and lost tooth.
Second in line would be the windup clock my brother (Dave) gave me .. which, even if it no longer is able to keep time will never leave me.. it was his last gift to me before he left for the eternal plane.
Next would be the picture of my grandfather which hangs in my computer room and then the doilies my Nana tatted.
They are all family memories.
