I mean no offence but honestly what is with the religous fanatics in that state? It seems like if there is going to be any kind of fanaticism it comes out of there
Somebody explain this to me.. Is it the heat? or what?

Katts I did ...wonder over..briefly to the politics thread..but..I didnt see anything with Texas in it? Lots of bashing of Bama and Hilary but....?

The FLDS isn't a Texas thang...that's just where they happened to find a cool piece of property to build their "village". (They were originally in Utah, then Utah/Arizona border...and some in Nevada. All those western states, with their wide open spaces, used to be more "live and let live" until the Feds and "Traditionalists" got involved.)
But there sure is a lot of other fanaticism that seems to come from the Texas/Oklahoma/Missouri region -- maybe it's the "everything's bigger in Texas" (or the midwest) mentality

Loreli..this thread isnt for bashing or anything real bad.. PLease understand I live in Canada and we see what we're "fed" on tv bout this stuff.
But Im remembering Waco and now this..so..I'm thinking..its all happening in Texas..what do they eat down there? what's in the water?
And is it communicable?

I love Mexican food, Greek and Chinese but not really American.
American food shortens your life.
By the way,Texas is really two very different parts.
There is Austin and there is the rest of the state
