I was laying in my bed when this hit about 5:20 am Friday April 18th......my bed shook and my partment building was shaking, what a way to wake up..........what has your experience been during these tremors?

 My son just asked me if I felt it. I said "WHAT earthquake?"
Yep, slept right through it.

It actually hit in Illinois...and was felt as far away as Indiana and Wisconsin

Morning gals
They were talking about it on the radio this morning...callers were calling in from Niles, Mi and some from close to Notre Dame..saying their houses shook.

My mom used to tease me, that I could sleep through an earthquake... guess she was right.

Well I am a light sleeper, but I was awake getting ready for work. I dont have to work today though, they called me and said I am not needed at this time..........YIPPEE!!!!!!

i live north of Niles MI and we felt it here..all the way up to Rockford-which is more north then Grand Rapids.
whats strange is this fell on the anniversary of the Greath CA earth quake, almost to the time. the CA quake was about 5 am.

well lucky, so far-so good...lol
there was also an earthquake here in the south of Germany- in Bavaria near the border to Austria. another quake in Germany too?? i think someone IS trying to tell us something!

Well folks this KY gal slept right through it too. I wasn't even aware of it until I talked to my sister around 6 this morning. She was like "Sis, did you know that we had an Earthquake this morning?" I'm like "ummmmm nope sure didn't." I turned on the TV and sure enough it was on every news channel available. I've beat myself up over this thinking "WHY didn't I wake up to protect my girls." Thank God it wasn't a major one and there's been no reports of any injuries/fatalities from it. Glad that the MDers are ok. Hope everyone has a Great Day....

we got some lady's here who sleep pretty hard. Now hat mischief can we plan for those who will be going on the camping trip? 
Just glad that the quake was no qworse than it was. From what I have seen to this point there was property damange but no one seriously injured.

Oy! Stop stealing our schtick! It's people on the edges of the tectonic plates who are supposed to get earthquakes. People in the Midwest are supposed to get tornados. You don't see us out here on the West Coast getting twisters, so stop getting temblors.

I was gonna say that SNG.... and a 5.4??thats just a shaker not even anything to roll over in bed from  Now you listen here .. NO sending us none of the white stuff that falls from the sky this way niether you keep that and yer naders and himmacanes and all that "weather ' stuff back there where it belongs
