God forbid of course!
But if you did.. what regrets would you have as you took your last breaths..?
Would it be.. not saying sorry..to that one person you never got around to or had too much pride for..
Not seeing that something you always wanted to..
Not travelling enough..
Not telling that someone how much you really do care?
For me, it would not travelling enough.. not seeing the Terrecotta army in China or the hanging gardens of Babylon.. Or taking my mother to see Niagra falls..
Im hoping I can still do them, but if I died tomorrow.. these would be my regrets..
what would yours be?

1. All those times I turned down invitations to do things with my friends 2. Not going to see The Producers senior year...it's now my favourite musical and thinking back on it (it's off Broadway now) it would be amazing to be able to say I saw it live 3. Not staying away from Dan when I had the chance 4. Not controlling myself and putting the weight on...my body still isn't the same even though I weigh less 5. All those times I skipped class and f***ed up my GPA
There are more

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to list "regrets", mainly because I'm of the belief that the way I am is a result of everything I've done and haven't done (yet).
I have to smile, though, because this question always brings back a special memory. When our mother was being "conselled" (because her congestive heart failure was progressive and considered terminal ), this was a question posed to her.
She didn't have to think for an instant -- she told the doc, "I don't have ANY regrets...I've had a great life and done everything I've ever wanted to. I've know I've been luckier than most and simply appreciate that fact."
The doc must have felt that she harbored inner turmoil, guilt...or was faking it, so kept prodding her to say something so he could fill in the blank on his form. Finally she came up with, "I suppose I kind of regret that I never got a degree from a 4 year college." (lol, that was pretty thin, because she more "aware", "talented", and "educated" than a good share of college grads )
Anyway, leave it to my sister and me to help fulfill her destiny -- She'd have blushed then laughed her bum off if she'd read her newspare obituary. Seems she graduated from Stanford University afterall. (If we'd been thinking straight, we'd have made it Mills College I suppose I'll always regret not thinking of the school she would have really appreciated and preferred. )
==== On the other hand, I KIND OF regret not buying this catamaran -- or at least not making an offer on it --

...but it might not be too late ~grin~ I ain't quite dead yet

I can relate to that too!
When I first got married I cut off my friends to put 100% in to my marriage,, I was young and didnt know any better.. I lost touch with quite a few of them.. some I dont even know where they are in the world.
I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to list "regrets", mainly because I'm of the belief that the way I am is a result of everything I've done and haven't done (yet) Thats quite true.. everything we do, see and say is a becoming of ourselves.

No regrets here. The people that I love (and my pooch) already know it.
I just hope there is enough wine in my diminishing collection and enough fish in my freezer for a good party. It's in my will...

Initially I was going to say I regret never having asked my highschool sweetheart to marry me when she finished college but if I had and she did,I wouldnt have the fine son and daughter I have today. So...no regrets to speak of.

I don't think this is a regret but more of an unfulfilled wish that I didn't have more children. I grew up wanting a house full of kids and only have one, a fantastic son. So I guess my regret would be that when I'm gone he will be alone.

Only regret I would have really is not seeing my kids grow up.. and have kids... other than that?? none really .. I have lived a good life full of love and excitement and pleasures and peace ...and if I did die tomorrow??? I would not regret it but I would feel bad because my kids and family and friends would be sad (I hope ) I have already told those I love (even my ex ack ) that I love them and always will.. I maybe woulda LIKED to do certain things but I just wonder WHEN I would have had time to... with all the rest I HAVE done in my life not sure I could have managed it but I DID do sooo many things that I truly wanted to that I have no regrets in that regards... and I have 3 of the most wonderful children in the world so Im a happy camper having a S/O in my life would be nice but not a regret that I dont have one .. Im patient it will happen again

I would regret not respecting time. Having wasted so much of it on the mundane as opposed to what was really important. Being arrogant enough to believe time owed me more of itself. For not living every minute as if it were my last.
