OMG, I looked around the area and THIS is the time to buy!  Right in my son's neighborhood, there was a "mini-mansion" foreclosure for 190K -- and dozens of others likely in the same or even lower price range. I feel bad for those who got in over their heads, but if I were to actually be in the market for a house right now, the Phoenix-area looked pretty good.

...except fot the fact that I enjoy the peace, quiet ( except for the darn tree frogs) and the small slice of the earth I've claimed as my own!

I think they knew what was coming, they gave us a corner table in the very back of the restaurant and even so, I'm positive that everybody heard us laughing out VERY loud, but we refrained from rolling on the floor, tough as it was. We got to meet Annie's daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, who I think is the most absolutely gorgeous child I've seen since....well since my own were babies?
OMG...I just saw this post...kinda late I know, but how can I read that my grandbaby is gorgeous and NOT comment?! Dang, if I was a gold member, I'd even post her pics here too.
Anyway....Heaven is right, we laughed a lot, even gossiped a teensy bit and I can't wait until I'm out there and can do this on a regular basis.
