I'm all for taking the time to evaluate what you are getting into! You need to decide are you going to be able to deal with what this person wears, or does, or how they act before you get involved with them! As a rule nobody wants you to tell them they have to change, you are going to get an earful when you try! In the past a woman that I had one of the best relationships with, was a err dancer (stripper) when we met! Now I quickly realized my feelings for her were growing, so I had to make a choice! My decision was that I would have to learn how to deal with it, and trust in her without telling her that I had concerns! I judged her character well, and it was only a short time before she told me that she had feelings for me, and was getting another job!

I support a woman's right to choose- whether to show cleavage or not. My artistic leanings value the beauty and the variations of the female form. The variations are truly infinite in their form. Some representative cleavages will be more pleasing to the eye of some beholders than others. Some are just, for lack of a better word, gigantic, while others are petit and cute, with everything in between.Furthermore, it seems that every individual cleavage lover have their own ideas of what the perfect cleavage is. I believe that for every breast there is some one to love it.

Well, I feel sure I'm not included in "that" group as mine cannot be described as excessive... I've been rotating my photos like most people here and this is just one more side to "me" and I don't feel one bit bad about it because living in So. FL where it's hot 7-8 months of the year I'll be darned if I'm going to dress like a nun indoors and even if I went out like "this" no one here would even notice.

If any guy at MD wants to concentrate on the one slightly revealing shot I have out of 5, well, shows he's mind is in the gutter and I'm glad they pass me by! I had the misfortune of marrying such a "prude" who censored the way I dressed out of insecurity and a desire to control me. Any man who is sure of himself doesn't throw a "hissy fit" over this. It's just a fact that a woman with "bigger assets" will show cleavage without even trying, now if all a woman has in her profile are revealing photos, then judge away...

Now, in real life I actually have gotten way more attention because of my legs and face (on the physical side), my eyes and smile being something men have repeatedly complimented me on. But as a few mentioned, intelligence and other positive qualities cannot be judged by a single aspect of appearance, it's like trying to multiply with only one number! One example of this was Erin Brockovich. Granted, she was extreme and I'd never, ever dress like her in public and much less a work place, but she drove the above point home and I applaud her for defending her right to portray herself any which way she pleased. All the years it's taken for women to gain "some" equality and I'm appalled at reading some of the opinions here, but again, I hope you're all referring to women the size of DP with way much more skin bared than I... If not, I would have to wonder if there isn't some jealousy on the part of some of the women and great insecurity on the part of some men...

Now about women wearing bras that are too small, that's NOT intentional! Oprah had a show recently about the subject of getting the right fit and it was pointed out that most women's breasts change sizes several times throughout their life but too many don't even notice so they keep buying the same size or increase the number but not the cup size. After watching the Oprah show I took my measurements again and it turned out to be I was one of those wearing one cup size smaller than I should. Lucky for me years ago I read a book about the relationship of long hours of bra wearing and breast cancer and the authors (a married couple of researchers...) recommended not wearing a bra at home, so when there's no males around that's what my daughter and I do.

room for more what ... hey like i said the choices are made for an reason by this person ... but hehehe can imagine the rumor mill and insecurities of some of the people here that go attack them ... A picture may say a thousand words but are they the right one ... and why not try looking beyond the outer shell for a change ....

of my soapbox ...

Which one is revealing? I just looked at all 5 and you look like a school teacher or something. haha

lj450:

Thanks, I have an "image" to maintain, y'know.

A couple of weeks ago I had another pic that showed a little cleavage and I do confess I got a lot more mail then but right about then someone else (I think a woman) opened a similar thread so I've got to wonder... The only women's profiles I've looked at are of participants of this forum so I've no idea what other women's pics are like. I didn't even really want to have that pic here since I'd had it taken for someone "special" (at the time) but since it was one of the most recent ones and showed my hair the way I most often wear it I decided to put it up. I will upload it again and then you can tell me your opinion again...

The MOST beautiful women I can remember DID NOT make excessive display(s) of their endowments.

Anouk Aimee (1960's - also 70's)
Julie Andrews (1960's - also 70's, 80's & 90's)
Ingrid Bergman (1940's - also 50's, 60's, & 70's)
Halle Berry (1990's - today)
Olivia de Havilland (1940's - also 50's)
Catherine Deneuve (1990's - today)
Peggy Fleming (1960's - also 80's 90's & today)
Betty Grable (1940's - also 50's)
Goldie Hawn (1970's - also 80's 90's & today)
Audrey Hepburn (1950's - also 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's)
Katharine Hepburn (1950's - also 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's)
Lena Horne (1950's - also 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's)
Grace Kelly (1950's - until the day she died)
Sophia Loren (1960's - including the present - the MOST beautiful woman in the world)
Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy-Onassis (1960's - until the day she died)
Julia Roberts (1990's - today)
Susan Sarandon (1990's - today)

Were they glamourous? Yes!
Sexy? Yes!
Talented? Yes!
Accomplished? Yes!

And... intelligent enough to realize that excessive exposure is saying, "This is all I am."

Since the "posting" of this thread, I took a glance at some of the photos here in all age groups - looking for "exposure."
Interesting... the VAST majority of those who feel the need to plop their flesh on the screen also find the need to explain what they are "not" in a quite apologetic manner rather than what they can "bring" into a relationship.

Give me a gal that can structure a sentence, cares for her family, and takes pride in her appearance ANY DAY... and let the boobs fall where they may.

Anthropologists theorize that way back in human origins, females with bulbous, healthy looking breasts more easily triggered reproductive responses in males. I'd say this holds true to this day. Ladies, if there's someone you're after, better show him as much (of your cans... oops) as you can without breaking the law.

But I don't want to scare anyone! I quite proud of what I have, it took years of developing, pain staking shopping for the right undergarments and the exercises to fight gravitation. Guys, they really are a pain you know at times. If your eating and drop something, guess where it lands? If the clothes manufacturers would sew bottons closer so no gapping takes place. Things like that....

There is, of course, a democratic way to deal with this:

Everyone who posts should do so with their shirts off in the pictures... I'm sure this will end the debate and even the odds so everyone has equal chance to display cleavage.

Of course, the cleavage-challenged will need to be provided with cleavage-enhancement software, but this will be a small price to pay for the greater good...

cans

if we're really going along that line, what does a man show to prove his a good provider? the size of his wallet? seriously, if we're heading this way, guys who walk with a limp, who r shorter, or any way deemed "unsuitable" for contributing towards a "superior" line of ppl would b out n the cold. fortunately, that isn't the case, and i'm glad. next excuse --

Perhaps:

Men aren't looking for initial personality compatability when they come to these sites. I've posted no picture, got no replies, post a pic and get 100s without asking for them. You be the judge of that analysis.

I have a pic in a bikini because I don't go around taking picture after picture of me up in PA, haven't for a while. the one i posted is of lauderdale by the sea fl. What a lovely beachtown. I was on this trip by myself and a german took the photo

a "superior" line of ppl

Methinks I heard that philosophy professed before - around 1938 or so?
I wonder... was a fascination with excessive cleavage among the requirement for the women conscripted to bear these "superior" children?
Did many of THOSE escape to South America where idiocy is so widely practiced?
What does "cans" have to do with this topic?
Rear-end cleavage?
Rear-end collisions?
Rear-end infatuations?
Please explain in words that even a California pedophile can understand as he flits through these threads searching for his bubba.....

Actually Lecri, yes there is hope for relief from this nonsense and from a rather unlikely source. Near death experiencers return from their journeys into the Collective Conscience sometimes referred to as the great I AM of the bible. Their message is that we must treat all of humanity be he or she yet so lowly, as if they are part of ourselves. You wouldn't go around kicking your bare foot against boulders would you? Yet this is what we do when we treat someone else in a way that we wouldn't treat ourselves. Heaven is what we must shoot for now, and this is how we may get there. If my postings should in any way offend anyone I am truly sorry. I seek merely to contribute for entertainment purposes as we pass these days which God has granted..
