Dear Diary,

Today I was grocery shopping and I was watching an old couple. They were probably in their 70's.

The guy was pushing the cart, and the gal was walking next to him.

It got me thinking. I want to be that couple I want to be old with someone and experience life with a partner. I want to be a part of the simple things. Picking out ripe bananas, planning the weeks meals, suggesting good smelling body soap.

I think I'm too picky. Maybe I'm not. Dunno.

Jim

Dear Diary,

I wanted to post my thoughts, but Jim has done it for me.

It's all I ever wanted from life.....children and to grow old in love. I have the first and hope to be blessed with the latter.

Dear Diary,

I'm probably crazy, but i'm gonna volunteer my services. A friend of mine has 2 kids (ages 2 yrs and 7mos) and I'm gonna kidnap them so that she and her husband can have a night alone. The real reason I'm offering is because I miss not having any kids to play with.
I really enjoy kids under 5 years old. They are so full of life and wonderment and they are so damn fun(ny)! I'm gonna snatch up these kids and take them to the zoo because there are so many fun things you don't have the opportunity to do if you're not part of the "parent" club.
As much fun as I know I'll have with them, the best part will be dropping them off at home. It's a win-win-win situation. Mom & dad win. Kids win. I win...and I can come home and drop into a long bath!

Dear Diary,

I can't wait for that economic stimulus check, so I can blow it all on a brand new HDTV. Ahhhhh, to be able to watch sports and discovery channel in full 1080p resolution is a glorious thing indeed! Being able to count the blades of grass during a nature show, or the amount of people in the bleachers come football season will be awesome. Not to mention Grand theft Auto 4.....woooweee!

My history professor is lazy and didn't feel like making an in class exam. Some professors are like that. Plus, you have to admit, to stare at 150 200 multiple choice exams that all say the same thing .... you would get tired and not grade them accurately.

Dear Diary,

Today I went out to eat by myself. (again). No biggie. I actually enjoy people watching and laughing inside.....

I did notice one particular thing while dining at my favorite local italian eatery....

The freaking bread is FREE!!! Can you believe it? All I ordered was a small pepperoni roll and a dinner salad. The waitress brought me bread. I told her I didn't order any bread and there must be some sort of mistake.

She assured me that the bread was "on the house". I told her that I wasn't famous or anything and that the bread must've been for someone else. She said,"no, it's yours."

"Sweet," I said. "I'm important."

"No," se said,"Everybody gets free bread."

"Bitch." I muttered under my breath.

Then I asked for fromunda cheese on my salad.

Till next time,

Jim

Dear Diary,

After reading j_goose's most recent entry, I'm wondering what Italian restaurant he went to. Is it that tiny place in Northfield Center on Olde 8? Dammit, I can't recall the name of it...it's right in the center of town in a tiny strip mall and the parking is a b!tch. They make a mean pizza.

At any rate, I'm tired of being sick! I am supposedly free and clear of my case of mono, but my immune system is shot for the time being. My poor lymph nodes can handle no more!! I picked up some echinecea and extra antioxidants on my way home in the hopes of some (eventual) relief.

I think I just want my mommy!

Dear Diary... I met the most wonderful woman. She's Beautiful, Kind, Educated, Fun, Compassionate and Loving. She is the Prayer that Prayed, the Wish that Wished, and the Dream than I Dreamt!!! I am an Old Man, but when I think about her; I am Young Again. I am a Young Man; and yet, when I close my Eyes We Grow Old Together. I've always considered myself a Basically Happy Person; but until I met her, I had no idea what happiness was. I now hope that our paths will continue in the same direction; and one day someone will see us together in a Super Market!

Dear Diary,

I am nervous about a teacher/parent meeting tomorrow afternoon. Do you know where I could get several nerve calming pills? Morphine will do if that's all you can find.

Also, I've been painting for the last two weeks, I some how manage to get more paint on my body than on the walls, I wish I had some more rags.

Ohh, and diary, sometimes when I am at the gym, my brothers personal trainer, Joe, walks by and the only thing I can hear is the sound of angels. It souns something like this..."Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww." I wonder if that is normal. *shrugs.

Thanks for being my best friend dear diary,

XoXO

Dear Diary,
I uploaded a photo. It's in the approval stages.
I'm not sure I should have done it, but in a moment of
who caresness, I did. I've decided it's only going to stay up
for 24 hours. And then...down again. I wanted this
to be anonymous fun. And it was. Until I submitted
a photo for approval. Approval. That word.... will I
be approved of?
