I havnt actually met this woman, but i am very drawn to her....I dont know if it's because i have been alone for quite some time or if it's real? Never believed in others when they say "love at first sight" but i am having to give that little slogan some deep thought.

It's EASY to "fall for someone" you've never met, but it's kind of hard to tell if it's mutual or worth pursuing more seriously until you actually meet.
And of course there's the "trust" aspect...learning to trust that they are really like or who they say they are. That often takes time, so sometimes it's wisest to enjoy the feelings - the "twitterpation" - that follows a connection, while guarding your heart...just in case things don't work out as you thought or hoped.
Good luck...she's a lucky lady, too.

IMO if you think you are falling for someone online it is pass time to meet.... the reason i say that is it is too easy to let your imagination run wild and build the other person up to be someone or thing the other person could never match up to be... so take a chance and jump in and meet in person......

Its definatly possible fromscratch and I do know that from experience.It all started after her initial wink to me,she moved in last Nov.after 10 months of nothing but phone calls and emails.I fell for her right after she fell for me enough to lead her to wink first.  Yes,it was long distance until November.

fromscratch, if you knew me you'd know that I say things off-the-wall sometimes, and just like to have fun. Nothing personal, and I'm sorry if it came across that way. Listen, like others have said, be careful and don't read more into your feelings in the beginning, but how else will you know unless you just make the first move. Hey, with your good looks, how can you fail?????

Yes... it is possible, I fell hard for someone a few years back, here on MD. It was easy and like we were meant to be together. Sadly he spooked before we got the chance to meet and left my heart in pieces...
so like others were saying, enjoy the twitterings, but guard your heart, by the smile in your eyes, it's a good one

Yes totally possible to fall for someone you have not met.. the PERSONA they present ... but if the REAL attraction is there only a face to face can determine that..
some folks have the most wondrous online or on phone persona and you find your self connected with that part of them... then you meet and the attraction is not there.. the chemistry is off or they are NOT who they portrayed  what to do?? well if nothing more you might still have a friend if you are lucky and if not there is always tomorrow

I haven't bothered to meet anyone in years... but I also don't allow myself to fall anymore... oh there are flirtations... but they never last ... of the hundreds I met in the past, not one of the women wanted anything to do with me after the first meeting...
so I don't even bother with that first meeting

It's very possible to fall in love with someone you have never met ... and depending on the situation , you can fall harder than you would face to face ... the down fall is , you can fall to hard , and be crushed ten times worse than real life ... I guess it's a fine line to walk
