Here I sit looking out my window at a WHITE street totally covered within 15 minutes with golf ball size hail  on memorial day weekend (well okay close ) no less.. in the mountains here they have SNOW when usually they are geared up for summertime lake boating and water skiing they could almost re open the ski runs  its CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

okay OMG just got a call about 4 miles down the road they had a little tornado and there are tornado warnings TORNADO ????? here WTF????? this is earthquake country dammit!! we are soooo not ready for tornadoes or this friggin weird weather

you don't understand MOM its a TORNADO there is a train overturned about 5 miles from me and the hwy is blocked by overturned big rigs ... so cal is not prepared for tornadoes we are ready for shakers and mudslides heck we can even handle hail and snow but tornadoes  we are under tornado watch till later tonight

O know, but tornadoes can happen any where. When I lived in Vegas, there was a tornado.
But I do agree it is crazy for you all the have them.

None here now, but I've seen tornado watches here too - and one of them meant driving home on the hail....I never thought I'd have to think about icy streets in Phoenix!! Actually though, Flag had four inches of snow last week.
As for crazy, Monday's drive home was 112 degrees, today's was 67 degrees. That's expected to be the high tomorrow...dang it, the pool's gonna cool down...especially since we're supposed to have ....gasp... rain!!

Been getting some good tornadoes here in Atlanta lately. Been an unusually cool spring too. I like that though because it will get hot and stay that way for a while at some point.

My butter melted all over my cutting board a few das ago. Today it's hard as a rock and my furnace keeps coming down, even though I lowered the themostat a few weeks ago. I'm FREEZING! ...and it's even worse outside. When my sprinlers went on last night, I was sure the sidewalk was going to be covered with ice.
...and now we have thunderstorms predicted. It's not supposed to rain when it's this cold!  And with the big winds we've had, lightning cause fast moving fires ~groan~
Hail and tornados where YOU live, Becky?
So much for a "normal" Memorial Day Weekend, people. (LOL, not that this weekend is any different than any other day for some of us  )

Indeed it is crazy.We had high wind and snow last Saturday out in the boat.Thought about heading back to the cabin,grabbing the ice auger and baiting up a few tip-ups.

Well we need rain here--we're already in drought mode in Texas. I was in Indiana over the past week end. Highs in upper 80s, lows in 50s. Came back to Texas, highs in upper 90s! Lows in 70s.
Send some rain this way, but none of that other nasty stuff, ok?

Usually Wisconsin is known for having unpredictable weather, but you guys take the cake this week with tornadoes, hot daytime highs & freezing nights . . . sheesh, guess we do indeed have normal weather here.

Yep Kitten I could SEE that one in the distance thanks for the pic ..yesterday we were sitting around after the hail storm and there was rain and lightening still happening and we heard this major loud BOOM sounded like a boulder hit the metal awning .. and a lightening flash.. scared the crap outta everyone... so about two hours later we went to the grocery store and three doors down I look as i drive by and their metal carport was trashed (looked like a giant stepped on it ) the lightening had hit it they didn't even realize it till after we had come home and were outside checkin it out... weird huh?? their OWN carport collapses and they don't realize this?? mighta been cause of ALL the noise going on they ignored it now they say we are in for more today eeeeek
