Its come to my attention during the camping that thou i met everyone there few dont know me other than my lovly luvvys  postings.
so ill try to sculpt a bit of a better picture of who i am and a bit of my life , so that all you wonderful people can know me as an individual aa little better.
I was born and raised in washington state on the squaxin island reservation , i spentmost of my life on the ocean ive sailed around the world single handed, and have built more boats than i can mention , ive worked ocean going tugs and commercial fished too, but it wasn ill i hit 40 somethin that i came to know my own heart was into woodcrafting. and i became very involved proactivly working in
envirmental issues and alternative energys and am a curent member of the florida alternative energy assoctaion at FSU. along with being a active greenpeace memeber  Yes i chase whaling ships in rubber dinghys  yea i been caught huggin a few trees along the way too  . i built my own sawmill so i could recover lumber gathered from hurricane downed trees and may other disasterous events. the lumber is used to by me to make high end furniture.but now because i met this angelic  incredible and yes somewhat  women ive began nesting  least thats what my freinds told me so now im workin to make our own furnishings or our home and life together  .but above all the things i am first a humanist  .i met some exraordinary people at the camping trip each of you had a ora of great character and made me feel at ease as i could be. and a few very speacial people really touched my heart right to the soul .
i tend to be senstive to a fault but i cant change that and still be who i am.
i wrote this here as a thread rather than as a blog because i really didnt want it to be open wide public ,but rather directed to those people of the MD camp and to those following it.while sitting on the porch of the cabin saturday nite i saw a bearcoon and asked it to leave tracks on somebodys butt at a cabin on the other side ill never tell i wunder if it did . yall are really great and hope to get to know each of you a lot better and vice versus  .

I got to spend some time talking to you and felt I did get to know you. I thought you were just the right person for luvvy. You two seems so natural together that I would have thought you and she had know each other all of your lives. You both were wonderful with each other as well as being gracious enough to take the time to get to know us. I sure am looking forward to seeing you again. Until then, take good care of yourself and know that many of us are so looking forward to next year when we will all be together again.

Duvvy,
You are indeed a special man. Your personality and intelligence shines through. You are a gentleman and I believe a very sincere man. You and Luvvy certainly make a wonderful couple and I feel that everything will work out for you. It is rare to find a man who is so comfortable in his own skin.

yea im speacial allraight me and luvvy gonna by a short buss  i can be a bobble head in the back window and she can drive . god i love her  .
bein a gentleman comes with hidden prices but the value of the smile given in return is pricless. . funny thing about skin...we get new skin about every 60 days or so...but the inside remains the same.

hobbit, you are a very welcome addition here and I personally know that you are a great person on the inside as well as that hunk that luvvy fell for. I would bet she loves the inside person just as much as she does the one that is visible to everyone. I think your is definitly a nmatch made in heaven and you and duvvy are meant for each other.
Welcome again and look ofrward to seeing you around the forums when you have the time but also know you have lots going on in your life and cannot spend a lot of it here.

when I shook your hand for th first time sir, I felt a bit flushed,,,,,i knew that moment i shook the hand of an angel.
speakin of hunks lol i dont see my self as any kinda hunk but man apparently YOu ARE ladys are talkin all about you .an well in a non gay way i understand. but for me your the perfect description of a gentleman and a true rock the impression i see is a your solidity to your good character and care and devotion to rightness and and truth to self and all around you. the compassionate giving without precursor . you are my freind among it all and im so abosouluty honored

OK Duvvy, I'm going to ask you since I think you might have made this item, having a sawmill and all...is it made out of Cypress?
Anyway, it's very beautiful but what is that ladder-like thing on the table in several pictures?
Inquiring (another name for nosey) minds want to know......

Hey Duvvy I knew if Luvvy picked ya ...ya HAD to be a good one and after talking to you on the phone the other day I feel like I know ya straight shooter (love that) caring intelligent and caring.. and from all the reports I read so far a damn hard worker along with Gray and others ...always looking out for OTHERS a lot of the men here seem to be like that too Im so glad that you and Luvvy met Duvvy it seems you both were just lost searching for each other

Mam its made of live black oak ...i chose live oak to represnt our lives live oak will twist and turn and reshape constanly just as we do. the pine slats i chose because we have some form of pine in every state in the USA and Canada representing that we all have come from across the continent to meet a this camp out in the heartland of america. i left it in a rough slab form to represent that we al may appaer rough and unhewen at first glance but taken the time and given the chance if we look closly we will see the real beauty deep within.

oops i better continue bout this piece of wood
in thoise ladder looking space there will be place little mini plaques with copper plates permannalty embossed by hand from each and everyone at the campout.
tiny plackards and will be permanly bonded to the legend board it will be continued as we have new camp outs and new people added at each outting.
no places or names will be changed it will remain the same allways except when new people are added, i have the adjacent sister boards to it and will keep them at hand for as long as long is,, so it will keep growing just like a live oak tree.
so we have began our legacy now we can keeps it origin and legend of people .
