That is right too. However if it is not listed in the blue book then the insureance company is going to screw whoever it is because they can. Just like they did to me when my 1980 Yamaha got destroyed by a nut in a hurry. If you need to recoup anything from them then you can try to negotiate, which probably won't do much good, or you can get an attorney. Unfortunately in the current environment insurance companies don't listen to well unless you mention litigation. It is a sad state for sure, but you can thank all these people that want to get over on the system for how things are set up now. If you have a legitimate claim you will usually get the short end of the stick because of how many people there are that file suite because they can and don't really have a legitimate reason to do so, other than they just want money and see a chance to get some. I was talking to a friend last week, and he told me that his wife was rear-ended while turning into her driveway. The guy was an "assigned risk", and when his insurance company sent the ass-thruster... I mean ADJUSTER.... to look at the car, they said they were going to total it and give him 500 bucks. My friend said to the adjuster, "The next person you'll be talking to is my lawyer". My friend called his lawyer, the lawyer called the insurance company, and the insurance company fixed his car. My next door neighbour (And friend) is a lawyer, and unless I misheard him, he said he'll "make a call" for me when the time comes. Oh... PHILLIPE.... where did you find that info? JERRY... nope.. the car doesn't spit OR sputter!
