Second, I received a re-gifting basket tonight from Annie544 that is the type Ms Puke has blogged about!
OMG that brought tears to my eyes!
My dear GypsyAnnie....you're still in my thoughts...all that are affected by these floods are.
We need a pipeline to get that water out of the midwest and send it out here. Cali is catching fire, the drought is so bad

I was all ready to come down and help ya, but it looks like the brunt of that is falling on your landlord. I am truly sorry for your loss...but I am thankful you are safe and in good spirits..

My prayers go out to all of the people affected by this bad weather. Floods, tornadoes, fires, baseball sized hail. I won't whine now because we're going to hit the triple digits today.
GypsieAnnie....you are a strong woman and I'm so happy that YOU (and your cat) got out with your lives. I'm also thankful that you have so many caring friends nearby to keep your spirits "afloat".
Loreli....I have been watching the flooding in Cedar Rapids. Are you in any danger where you live?

Annie will be here soon. We had talked about going to our favorite Chinese restaurant, but then she said, "uhhhhhhh you know, I think this time I would really like to have home cooked food."
So I've been making several of our family's favorite comfort foods. And there just may be a pitcher of something icy and cold to drink when she walks in the door. Let the healing begin!

Annie, you have been on our hearts and in our prayers, so glad you are safe at 'Sis's' house. Relax, put your feet up, and let her take care of YOU for a couple of days (no guilt allowed  ). Let us know if you need anything, (I'm not far away maybe 1 1/2hrs).
Graywolf is lounging with me on the couch, he says "Hi  and take care of yourself"
For everyones else out there affected by the floods, be safe, and know that prayers follow you wherever you go.

It is so hard to watch what is happening in the Midwest.  I wake up with a prayer on my lips, and whisper them all day long for all the people there.
I am so happy you are safe, Annie, and being spoiled some. You certainly deserve it.
