Finally received a call .. Lil Joe is in recovery.. they think they got all the mass but its is cancer   and my heart is breaking.. I still hope you all keep lil Joe in your prayers for a full recovery and remission .. and keep the family in your prayers.. my friend never had children of his own blood .. by choice.. he chose to father and be daddy to two children of his wifes.. and a better more dedicated father I have only seen few and far between...taking two small children into his life and showering them with love guidance and discipline that they lacked and burned up the phone lines btwn my house and his asking for HELLLLLLLLP  .. Becks how do I do this ???Becks how can I get them to do that??? how do I get them to listen ? and to the best of my ability I helped him...and the children prospered and grew its a beautiful thing... and he has become so attached to these kids they are MORE than his own blood they are HIS yanno?? through all the illness lil Joe only wanted to be near my friend just hang out near him.. and i know why.. he felt SAFE (as I have always felt near my friend)and loved and cared for but mostly SAFE... I know this is hitting my friend hard .. really damn hard... but I pray that our combined prayers help this all to be a thing of the past a test of our faith .. and Lil Joe will be up and playing and making my friend crazy again  I know I will keep him in my heart and give what support I can and send good energies to all of them ... thank you all please keep them in your prayers

Just got off the phone with my friend he said everything is going good  and he was on his way back up to the room they have lil Joe morphined up and they were going ot try to sit him up and stuff but my friend sounded SOOO much calmer  relieved and optimistic unlike what he did sound like thank you all for your prayers and keep em coming

Becks, I've been offline for a couple of days and just saw this thread. I hope and pray that this sweet precious boy will be completely healed and made well again. Having 2 grandkids the same age as him, I know how it must hurt his family to have to go thru this with him. So far, it sounds as if he's doing very good. Prayers and good thoughts heading their way.

It really helps, too, to know what the problem was/is and what's ahead rather than to watch the suffering and being helpless and frustrated. Even though the diagnosis is extremely serious, at least they can face it head on with the old "know thy enemy" cliche.

Aww Sunny yer too sweet even tho you know my halo is held up by my horns thank you all again for the good thoughts and prayers I hope I can sleep tonight and my friend and his wife get some good restful sleep too they REALLY need it thanks and more thanks again
