...where that guy walks into a clearing in the woods, and all the cute, furry little animals are standing there, just staring at the guy and grinning?
I was just finishing up my nightly walk, and I was passing the local high school practice field. I looked over to my right and about four feet out from the chain-link fence were three cute, furry bunny rabbits. They were spaced damned near the EXACT same distance apart from each other... and they were just sitting there.... STARING at me!
Art imitating life... or LIFE imitating ART... or just plain CREEPY?!

My all time favorite Far Side was the portly nurse shoving the alligator out of the hospital nursery. The caption was: "Shoo you rascal. Margaret! Better count em, he got in again!"

Gray...that's one of my favs, but my ALL TIME FAVORITE IS Cow Poetry which shows a cow standing in front of a group of other cows in a library and reading:
The distant hills call to me.
Their rolling waves seduce my heart.
Oh, how I want to graze in their lush valleys.
Oh, how I want to run down their green slopes.
Alas, I cannot.

Mailorder... that "cat fud" one is one of my favorites as well!
HOWEVER... MY all-time favorite - simply because it mirrors MY luck - is the one where the guy is standing on this EXTREMELY tiny island with a palm tree. He's staring out at the UFO that has just crashed offshore, and heading towards the island are the occupants of the UFO... several large, cyclopic, octopoid-type aliens!
I wish I knew how to post that particular strip!
