I've been cooking something very similar to graywolf's "Hawaiian Kabobs" for years now. Being the lazy dude that I am, I use teriyaki sauce rather than cooking up my own sauce and I usually wrap the pieces of chicken in bacon. It's great!!!

Sign, I am still having a hard time deciding what to have.  Now, with even more ideas, it all sounds so yummy! I hope after the Hen Party, we can make some decisions.

King's Island Hawaiian bread is amazing too
My mom was born in Hilo, and there is a lot of Asian influence on the Islands too. We ate a lot of Sushi, Kim Chee, Pickled Daikon, and dried squid. Oh, and rice candy!
For dessert, my mom used to take a big bowl of white rice and pour milk over it and add some sugar and cinnamon. YUMMY!
